Finished Castlevania Nocturne. Said this in the Netflix thread but I did a Tiger Woods fist pump at the end. Went straight into this weeks episode of Jujutsu Kaizen and it felt like that episode was 5 minutes long in comparison.
Another set of One Piece dubs just hit. It may take 1050 episodes to get there, but once you reach it this show is great.
There’s an onimusha anime on Netflix based on the capcom PlayStation games. Only watched one episode, honestly it might kinda suck but I’ll give it a few more episodes.
I either watch a couple and quit or binge. Recent-ish binges have been: Black Lagoon Kill La Kill Sword Art Online - I really didn’t expect to like this, but for whatever reason the whole VRMMO setting is working for me. Also enjoying Full Dive RPG and the new release Shangri La Frontier
I turned off Blue Eye Samurai after 6 minutes so anyone who gives it the 3 episode rule and wants to tell me I should keep going please do.
It's very good. Fight scenes are incredible. There is a lot of full frontal nudity...to an almost gratuitous amount. Plus, George Takei!
I think the tone was not what I was expecting and it initially threw me off. I’ll give it another shot.
Finally finished it. Weird ending not sure how I ultimately feel about Eren’s character arc but enjoyed the show as a whole. Action was great in the finales.
the ending was kinda weird but it at the very least made sense to me. I’ve always told myself I don’t care how it ends because it’s been so great all the way till now, isayama can end it how he wants and I’ll be satisfied
- Cwoboy Bebop - One Piece - Yuyu Hakusho - Avatar The Last Airbender netflix is going all in w/ live action anime. Long as they carefully pick and choose. Some are more realistic than otehrs
I think by tone it was really just Ringo’s character, and to be fair he seemed fairly out of place to me throughout the whole show. Just a starkly different tone/character than everyone else, and if the purpose was to contrast the rest of the characters I feel like they missed the mark a bit. Still a fantastic show. Definitely recommend.
AOT ending is terrible in isolation. Knowing now that its the author calling himself a pathetic incel that hates himself for refusing to come up with a better ending makes it cool again
