Draft is starting to jump the shark a bit, too long / big of a spectacle nowadays imo But I really loved the pandemic draft
totally agree. Used to get together with my friends at 11 and make a huge lunch and drink, play football, hang out all Saturday watching the first 4 rounds
Would anybody want to do a mock draft later today or tomorrow? You can create private rooms on Pro Football Networks' mock draft simulator. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/mockdraft
Watching 90' now. Kiper had Jeff George 37th best player , went 1st. Cortez Kennedy bout to be picked now, had 86 tackles from his DT spot
Everytime I see those big ass pads I’m always like “how the fuck did people play in those?” then i remember i also played in those pads at one point in my life haha
He may have been over drafted but he was kicking ass blocking for Fred Taylor and Mark Brunell for years, so I’ll always be appreciative of him for that.
Maybe I'm a sicko, but I genuinely enjoy the draft and I don't think I've watched the entire first round in a few years. My scheduled Friday off is this week so I was going to be able to except I got a call saying the Georgia EPD wants to do their air permit inspection on, of all days, Friday
position versatility is a big plus with Barton too. Some think he can play at 4 positions on the OL. I heard on The Athletic football podcast that JPJ might fall out of the first round due to injury concerns.
me watching tommy cutlets dice up green bay on MNF vs me rn seeing how badly we want my favorite player and knowing we are picking too late for it:
I forget but how did Stefon fall to the 5th round? I remember him being a 5 star prospect but I guess he went to Maryland so that may have answered my own question
I understand he looks dumb from two years ago, but based on the stuff I've read "Nabors > Harrison" doesn't seem like a minority or loner take at this point. Seems like a decent number of people are on that train.
I think it’s also the unnecessary “overwhelming majority” crap that he adds to give himself extra in his tweet. Like, he’s been talking to everyone and they are all with him… no, you didn’t
For sure. I find Chris Simms impossible to watch for more than 30 seconds or follow on any of his stuff. No argument on that.
The only redeeming thing about Chris Simms is we have video of him in buccs training camp shitting down his leg trying to get a basic play call right
What if you desperately need both as well as a QB to throw that WR the ball and a G to play next to that OT to actually block stunts and your TE may or not play because he might start doing crack again and also like 75% of a secondary
MHJ is a LOCK to be a really good WR for 8-9 years (injuries aside) but Nabers does seem to have a tangibly higher ceiling just based on his superior quick twitch athleticism.
