If it goes 3 QBs, 3 WRs, Alt, Turner, then someone will be offering a good trade for QB4. Get 2 more picks before 75 and take the best combo of 3T/Edge/WR/OL that you can at that point with those 3 picks.
He’s 23 and that’s an ideal age for a rookie IMO… why would you want a 21 y/o rookie that is still maturing and who you will have a to make a critical decision on before 25 as opposed to one that is two years older?
Because 21 year olds likely have more development to go and thus a higher upside than someone that may be tapped out physically
Yeah I just see that way differently. The key to decision making in the draft is having as much information as possible and how a player progresses from 21 to 23 is part of that. Verse isn’t a developmental player which is fine; it means the teams have more information on him and fewer question marks imo again, to the nature of the draft being a crap shoot: teams should be selecting based on who can help them now and who they can see earning a second contract, who cares how many years the guy has until his body wears down, trust me the decision makers in a front office know they have to make good picks to be where they’re at the following year much less ten years from now
