some day the right person is gonna get jammed up or have a terminal illness and we're gonna get the whole Murda Marv saga and it's gonna be fuckin incredible I just hope Im alive
The Athletic seems to have posted 7 round mocks for all 32 teams FYI. Nate Taylor's for the Chiefs has them trading up to 22 for Brian Thomas, which I would love but don't think will happen.
I've wondered this as well, I feel like there's an opportunity for someone to write a good profile of these accounts, because they've become much more prevalent in the last couple years.
On the second part of wanting to end up with more picks... If sincere that sounds like not loving the value at 25 if that is the early stage of a tier of similar players
Its honestly a top 3 yearly tradition on this website. There are dozens of notable twitter accounts that solely put out draft content. Go be frree Bankz, let the internet at large know how much you know about this. Take your place among the internet draftnicks out there. All you need to do is make some dumb ass charts that take one stat out of context and caption with "Player X may go overlooked in this year's draft, but any team with INTELLIGENCE will take him ahead of day 3 because his Pass Block Success rate on 1st down divided by dress pants inseam is 3x that of former all Pro Player B"
Disruptive interior DL < a TE with those numbers (unsure how he compared to peers) I can’t think of a single era football where this would make sense
been confirmed many times that sapp being a pos is what caused him to be passed over guy would've ended up at Bethune Cookman or some shit had he played in this era
Terry Glenn never knew his father and his mother was murdered when he was 13. He moved in with his HS football coach at 15. He was a local Columbus kid and walked on at Ohio State, eventually earned a scholarship, and won the Biletnikoff in 1995. When Glenn got paid his NFL first round money, one of the first things he did was make a big donation to the Columbus Coats for Kids organization. He said he relied on the charity when he was a kid and wanted to make sure they bought nicer coats so that the kids who wore them wouldn’t get made fun of like he did.
The league (allegedly) yelled at the Lions two straight years when they drafted Sewell and Hutchinson for not waiting long enough to pick. They want this stuff to drag on.
drugs, fights (men and women), half of miami's roster hated his ass etc. guy was arguably best defensive player in the draft, without even just 1 of his issues he probably goes top 5 that Bucs defense was so filthy though
Going back to old drafts and seeing blocking FBs taken in the first round is quite insane. well yeah, but having a decent idea when your exact team will pick is super helpful. Especially when there are people who will be watching their team in the NBA/NHL playoffs happening at the exact same time.
yeah, I hate splitting off the first round. Obviously there is a chance for a big move and trades, but it takes way too long to unfold.
What's the story on Jermaine Burton? He seems really underrated to me but I've watched some YouTube stuff where it's suggested he's got some baggage that is going to lead to him being a potential day 3 guy. Is it just all the different schools he played for? Or some other attitude/behavior stuff that isn't as well known?
Absolutely. I did not properly pace my drinking when I attended the first night of last year’s draft in Kansas City. I’ll be on the couch this year and may take a 30 min snooze around pick 15 or 16.
