My wife’s parents are really good friend with him. They own a few venues in round top and he has a restaurant out there

 

If staying two nights where do I not want to stay

Wife got a place on Ovid I believe

 

Buffalo Bayou brewery and White Oak Music hall are over that way.

 

Did you crush some frijoles?

 

Ja. I also enjoyed the ribeye with cheese enchiladas. So simple but so tasty.

 

Didn’t buffalo bayou close? Either way, there are a couple other breweries near it

 

Wow just looked it up. They didn’t pay their rent. Yikes.

 

Yeah, tough deal. A buddy from Rice started it, but he had some management and leadership issues and ultimately got bought out like a year or two ago. And they obviously had some financial and money management issues. But they had a pretty good run regardless, I actually had my 40th birthday party at their original location, kinda near I-10 and Durham/Shepherd.

 

Did not know that. But I did look at White Oak’s schedule and Bleachers are there 6/1 on the lawn

 

Urban South closed too. A couple other smaller breweries have as well.

 

Whatever you do in life, for the love of good do not order the hottest hot chicken at clutch city cluckers.

They’ve got loaded fries that are delicious. Granted, it’s tough to fuck up loaded fries.

 

Their shrimp nachos are 12/10.

 

I know your wife's parents really well. Her mom makes outstanding chocolate chip cookies

 

I did this too good to go thing where you can sign up and restaurants will give you leftover food right before they close

Did it for hot bagel shop and for $6 I got like 25 bagels lol

Their little mini bagel dogs might be a top tier food in the nation.
