Wife works for a large animal welfare outfit in the Bay Area. Most of their efforts have shifted to counties east of here that are quite red where shelters are overrun with abused and abandoned dogs. For the first time in decades, they are euthanizing puppies because things have gotten so out of hand. It’s heart breaking and infuriating.
