Surprised there hasn't been talk itt of The Gentlemen (series) yet. The movie was great and I'm only thru 2 eps of the series but so far, so good. Very entertaining and original in only the way Guy Ritchie does it.
Nah. You can enjoy the series without ever seeing the movie. I completely forgot about seeing the movie when I started it. Someone posted it’s like Fargo and the Fargo series and that’s a good analogy.
Spoiler Again, I'm only 2 eps in so I don't know shit yet, but best casting ever to have Giancarlo Esposito as the guy whose fortune was made from meth. As Hoss said, it's not but you'd be doing a disservice to yourself if you didn't watch the movie at some point. It's so good
Jeff Goldblum plays Zeus, king of the gods. All-powerful, cruel, occasionally benevolent… he has no idea that the plot to take him down has begun. From the Writer of “The End of the F*cking World” and the Producers of Chernobyl. Coming soon.
Anyone watch Griselda? Thought it was pretty good with Sofía Vergara as the lead. It's mostly subtitles.

i am not objective because I am a sucker for that genre but I love it I want to take some peas out now
I'm going to watch it and let go of my book snobbery. If I want a more faithful book adaptation, the 30-ep Chinese version is available.
I'm 2 eps in, and not feeling very cunty at all about the extreme changes they've had to make to characters and plot line in the interest of good television and accessibility. Those guys caught a huge and partly deserved measure of shit for the way GOT finished, but people seemed to forget all the years of fantastic work before that. I'm pretty happy with the show so far. And also, sup, Auggie.
I'm through episode 1 and it's insane how quickly it's moving compared to the tencent version. They covered maybe 7 or 8 episodes worth of stuff. I'm really liking it, though.
I have a wife who likes to read sci-fi, so I turned 3 Body Problem on this afternoon and told her that this kind of show was just up her alley. Three minutes in she's like WTF, this is a historical drama about the Chinese Cultural Revolution, and I said keep watching. Fifteen minutes later she was hooked
I'm a few episodes in and would be my favorite moment in TV history if a saltwater crocodile just casually snacked on Helen's fiance. Please let something terrible happen to this guy.
Wish this thread wouldve been more adamant that Octopus Murder thing was a complete waste of time. Will check out 3 Body Problem, but I'm not much of a sci-fi guy.
Michigan, 1963. Kellogg's and Post, sworn cereal rivals, race to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast. A tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen, Unfrosted stars Jerry Seinfeld in his directorial debut. Unfrosted is coming to Netflix on May 3.
Didn't mean to brag, just honestly curious what to expect if any others had ever been a part of it. I'll share my experience itt if others are interested at all....idgaf about the terms. What are they gonna do search their program for a "user 1"?
My first thought was that you are being scammed too, these fuckers are getting slick. Better be safe send the link to dump and let him be the Guinea pig, he has no money to be stolen anyway
Watching Supersex the Rocco Siffredi show and its actually quite good? I saw reviews were good so thought good use of my Italian lessons and even beyond the non stop beautiful naked European women the story is pretty smart and acting is pretty damn good.
The documentary on the Ottoman Empire is from the same as all the others like Alexander and is really good. Thought I had seen them all.
Saw they added Vikings to Netflix. Not sure if it’s the first time it’s been on there but highly recommend. Pretty awesome show. Starting a rewatch myself. Need to renew my love of Katheryn Winnick
It’s been a few years since my last rewatch but I’m pretty sure the Netflix version of Vikings is the “uncut” version. I definitely don’t remember there seeing queen Aslag’s titties or people dropping F bombs on history channel Spoiler Also the random dick right before the first encounter in Wessex
Season 2 of Ottoman Empire is pretty badass. I knew of Vlad the Impaler but did not know how important historically he was. The actor looks just like Nandor and it’s hard to take him serious
