A dutiful damsel agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive. Millie Bobby Brown stars in Damsel. Only on Netflix, Mar 8, 2024.
I had assumed it was just quietly cancelled because I think it’s been a few years since new episodes released
The Tourist any good? Great RT score and bad audience score which has me reluctant after true detective bullshit
The first season set in Australia is good. The 2nd season that just came out in the UK that's set in Ireland is not.
Finally watched the Dracula miniseries. The first two episodes were pretty good but hoo boy did the last one take a turn
On a Peaky Blinders rewatch. Acting doesn't get better than what Tom Hardy did as Alfie Solomons. There are surely some equals out there over time but nothing better.
After the alexander the great docudrama, I've gone on an absolute bender. There's a bunch of similarly produced shows available (multiple season of the roman empire, samurai, etc.). All very good
The kings and generals YouTube channel is great if you’re into that stuff especially if you have premium and can just listen
Anyone watch "Fool Me Once"? I don't know who Harlen Coben is, so Idk if it's something I'd like or hate. I can deal with a limited series made for women.
Someone posted that it’s like Fargo and the Fargo series and that’s a really damn good comparison. You don’t have to have seen the movie to watch and enjoy the show.
All of the Harlan Coben shows are very good imo. Also fun fact about this show, the mansion in it is the same as Shelby's house in Peaky Blinders. No idea how I immediately recognized that.
As the previous poster said, all Harlan Coben shows are great. I don't think of them as series for women at all. Really good slow burn mysteries with multiple story lines that converge as the show progresses.
The leading lady in Fool Me Once is incredibly attractive, good grief. She looks a little like Kate Beckinsale to me. Edit to add: Also, I think the detective looks like a middle eastern Adam Sandler.
Thought about it, but I keep putting it off because most conspiracy stuff just makes me roll my eyes. Is it any good?
Well there's some truth in it but at least one of the guys again strings them along. I'm still not really sure how much I believe
