I’m assuming this is the same one my wifes friend was freaking out about. Read some articles and it was funded by a company whose goal is to promote veganism.
it was definitely bias towards veganism although they tried to put it under the veil that it was an unbiased study on twins which is the most accurate canvas you can use to she how food affects the body. However in between all the study stuff all they showed was the usual footage about how terrible the meat industry is.
No doubt about that. I just can't stand fear-mongering food docs with an agenda. I remember the one way back that said eating one egg is like smoking 5 cigarettes a day. After that I knew I'd likely never watch those kinds of docs again.
My wife and I watched the first episode last night and it was painfully bad. It seemed rushed with bad acting and writing. It’s only six episodes so I’ll give it another and maybe it gets better. But, for something that felt rushed it also dragged if that makes sense. I just think they were trying to cram too much in one episode.
Half way thru American Nightmare and have no idea what to think. I’m sure I’ll be let down, but so far I’m really enjoying this.
is that the one that Spoiler she lied and said two latinas kidnapped her idk if this belongs n a spoiler but just in case
not that. Worth the watch. Three parts and like 2 hours long. First ep makes you think one thing, second another, and third completely diff and wtf. And there is actual closure. Good doc
currently watching for some reason this seems familiar. Either I remember this story or I saw a tv show with a similar plot. On episode two so this is just my opinion and not a spoiler because I don’t know if I’m gonna be right Spoiler I remember that she faked the thing and spent time with a guy she liked again I could be way off and I could be mixing up something else I watched/ read.
Not netflix, Paramount+ But the Korean Drama, "Signal" is finally available in the United States. Had a Korean GF in 2016 and we were watching it as it came out. Loved it and happy to see it available, doing a rewatch with current GF, holds up. One of the most interesting narrative structures I've seen in episodic TV. And I'm still waiting on season 2! 8.5/10 on IMDB, 94% audience score on rotten tomatoes for those who care about these types of things.
Plot twist- my current GF is Korean American and knows the ex had to be Korean as well based on watching this show. And now it sounds like I have a fetish, I swear they are the only two Koreans I've ever dated!
he specified only two Koreans but he didn’t mention his girlfriends that were Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Thai etc…

To be honest I almost said “they are the only two Asians I’ve ever dated” but I didn’t want to treat all of our most populous continent as a monolith.
I’m pretty high but has there ever been a bad Denzel movie? He doesn’t have the greatest hits but what’s his low?
i think I remember some bad movies Denzel was in but I do not remember a bad Denzel. He is always good
I don’t think I’ve ever watched one of his movies that I didn’t enjoy. Looking through his IMDB there are a few i haven’t seen so obviously can’t comment on those.
Mrs Lau loved it and tried to get me to watch. Did the half-watch & cook a couple nights and was not inspired to sit down to view
The Tourist was a lot of fun. Dark comedy with enough actual comedy to make it not wholly depressing.
I remember that case when it was happening here. Unfortunately the killer in that one is at least the 3rd craziest murder mystery case that's happened around here in the past decade and it's not really close. The other two cases make that one look routine. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Sydney_Loofe https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikko_Jenkins
