Re-reading the books and then watching the show as I finish the books. It’s funny going from one to the other how much more aggro everyone in the show is.
Just about to the end of Leviathan Wakes. Miller was way creepier about Julie Mao than I remember from the show
More burnt out than a slob I'd say. But he has these visions of Julie with her hair flowing like it's underwater and stuff like that on a pretty regular basis Iirc in the show they make it seem more like he's obsessed with the mystery than with her, at least for the most part. It's been awhile since I've watched it though
Obviously they couldn't portray it in the show for budget reasons but the belters making fun of how short Holden is was pretty funny
I'm a decent chunk into Caliban's War and this seems pretty different from what I remember about Ganymede from the show. Not in a bad way but maybe it just didn't fit into the TV story arc
More you get into the books the further they diverge from the show, but the show did a really great job of adapting all the way through.
