I've been watching the UK's 1st Survivor season and whoa is it physical. Kind of reminds of The Challenge with how physical it is. I'm talking 1 on 1 wrestling and 1 on 1 jousting..
I miss the challenge where they were in knee deep water and had to get the ball to the other teams post.
I was yelling that man. Just play your idol and attempt to find it within the next three days. My two favorites in Tevin and Hunter are out of the game, and that makes me sad inside. I also find it pretty interesting that Tiff didn't play her idol. The whole "I don't want this thing anymore" was a bluff. However, she has very little protection on the island right now. Kenzie has grown on me. She's bad at challenges, but her comedic timing is A+. I think her social game could work in some circles. Q voting for Ben was hilarious. First time in a long time that we have three wild card players still standing post-merge (Q Liz Venus)
Hunter and Tevin were my favorite too so that sucks. Really wish he would have played idol. The game about being on the right side of the vote has taken a lot of the fun away from tribal, this season is really starting to make it more interesting. Venus is awful, but surprising. Kenzi is going to be tough to beat.
I can't put my finger on Ben, which also makes him a wild card. The only difference is that he hasn't pissed anyone off/said anything super weird yet. Q Liz and Venus have all done some form of that.
Venus is so bizarrely confident. She’s a terrible player, but always smugly feels like she’s in control.
Ben strikes me as someone who would be miserable to hang out with. He's like a caricature of "music guy." Kenzie, Charlie, and Maria strike me as favorites at this point.
Finally caught up. Hunter not using his idol is an alltime bad blunder. If she wasn't hot as shit, she'd be an all time least favorite player. But she's eye candy so she gets a pass.
That meltdown was amazing I also love how they teed it up by her complaining about being kept in the dark on the split vote and then Q saying well you voted for me last night. epic TV
Back to back players with idols going out is hilarious. Liz finally snapping was one of those moments where I thought everyone would turn on her until she directed her anger at Q. Would I have taken her on reward? Probably. But I also don't blame Q for skipping over her and trying to save his relationship with his original folks. Maria better win immunity next week because Venus and Ben may target her. Speaking of Venus, she had got to feel alone yet again. Ben keeps flying under the radar and saying exactly how he feels about certain people is interesting to me.
Great episode. Feel like it’s one of the 1st times recently people are not just taking the gimmies. Makes it fun
Wish Q would of said something like “why go on survivor if you can’t eat anything” make even better villain
Every week Liz had been complaining that she wasn’t part of the vote, or someone voted someone that she wanted out and she wasn’t getting credit. This felt like the first time she mattered. Her going off on Q was funny, as though he owed her anything. If she wanted a burger so bad, maybe try not being the last person out of the net. She and Venus are so similar. Both are on the bottom, but swear they are significant players. At least Ben seems to be self aware. When was the last time there was this much dead weight in the final 7 ?
Something about Liz doesn't add up (I haven't looked up anything on the lady). Surprisingly, she got away with telling people she was a multi-millionaire/podcaster who didn't need the money from Survivor. In the previous era of Survivor, I feel like that would have burned her pretty quickly. Her exploding on Q over him "ruining her game" was just petty bullshit, and before that, she was blaming Tevin for ruining her game. As someone else said in this thread, Liz and Venus have the ability to create the mindset that they are leading this game while being squarely on the bottom. Venus for sure should feel like a person without a home.

This season got off to a really bad/slow start, but it's cooking now. Q not taking Liz was ice cold. Loved it. Liz melting down was amazing. She kind sucks in general, but I'll give her some grace there. Not eating for 2 weeks probably leaves in an a state like that. However, and to her immense credit - to made the strategic vote, not the emotional one. Maria just took the game over. Played it as perfectly as you can. However I think she played it too well. This is going to put a target on her back.
The game is called Survivor, for $1 million… It isn’t life, or Applebees. She could tap out or medical could pull her.
If the remaining players, or four of them, decided to get rice, that’s one thing. Producers made an exception to accommodate someone else’s weakness.
I have a friend who has similar allergies to Liz; it's all very confusing when someone has 30+ things they can't eat. Yet, I can eat Canes and many processed/sugary foods. Food allergies aside, she hit the island saying that she didn't need the money and that she was famous. Production briefly touched on the other castmates finding that weird and then moved on.
I don't care for her flipping out because the game isn't going how she wants. I also think production/medical stepping in and giving her a mason jar's worth of rice isn't something to get up in arms about. It would be a pretty massive buzzkill if she passed out during a challenge or at camp due to lack of food.
She could try to catch a fish… or The producers could have sprinkled some Applebee’s fish sticks on the ocean floor for her
Liz reminds me of Raven from BB. There's just something that is not right with all her stories and nonsense.
Tiff gave an exit interview to some outlet. She said both Kenzie and Marie offered to give their spot to Liz and Q said no. LMAO. And that’s a big part of why she blew up. Incredible. also fuck cbs for not showing that
