I agree and I probably did as well.

I don’t have an answer, I just think they are going to romanticize Bhanu so much and I hate it.

 

Yeah I’m with you, I was just thinking last night I wish they did tribe swap and then also remembering times where it totally screwed someone who was in good position in their tribe already. Not sure what the answer is.

 

Next season they need to go back to two tribes. This three tribe nonsense is dragging the show down.

 

Outside of the purple tribe being god awful at everything and Bhanu "learning" the game, nothing has happened. The other tribes have very minor issues and feel like they are sitting idle.

 

Also, I wonder if the lack of different ages plays a role in the absence of group conflict.

 

Bhanu being this terrible bizarre player has really been the only interesting part so far. I do think merging the remaining yanu tribe with everyone else will be good. The 3 left are all entertaining players

 

I was telling my wife that I believe the show would have been way more interesting and competitive if randomly, Hunter and Jelinski had been on each other’s tribes. Hunter and Q would have overcome Jess and Bhanu being so weak. Also, deadweight on the other tribe would have been so much more interesting when they struggled and 5 good players had to scramble.

 

Hunter just crushes every challenge with zero panic. Ho hum, on to the next win.

Jem was pretty smug going into that tribal.

 

Pretty good episode. It was imperative that someone else lost. Otherwise it was becoming unwatchable. As it is, 1/3 of the cast will have gone half the show without ever being in danger, and it was nearly 2/3.
I agree that the slo mo was outstanding.

 

It hurts the game when one or multiple tribes don't go to the tribal council for 10+ days. It sends everyone spiraling.

Jem was a bit too forceful with how she approached folks before tribal.

I am also a bit skeptical about how this bro team alliance will work during the merge

 

Can’t believe that challenge was that close.

Really glad they switched to everyone voting, was so dumb just to have a 6 person vote and the winners not get to have a say.

 

I feel like when pre merge sucks a lot of times post merge is even better

 

Q is such a bad player.

 

He will make folks turn on him with how emotional he's playing.

Venus is another one who doesn't seem to know how to build relationships properly.

 

I think yellow tribal fracturing before the merge highlights how this game can work in weird ways. They dominated weaker/bad competition, and now they have a load of folks that really don't know how to play the game with emotional intelligence. Tevin and Hunter are the only folks thinking multiple steps ahead.

Why did Tevin vote Venus?

Venus, thinking she was the puppet master behind the votes, may be the biggest lack of self-awareness I've seen in a new era.

 

the only explanation I can come up with is that he was overplaying the game and thinking that when it came time to talk to the jury during the finale, he could say, "I didn't vote for you once."

 

Very interesting, but would it be harder to convince the others that he orchestrated it then.

Both of the vote outs may be some of the best gameplay we have seen in a while. Seasons lately people just going along with allies and picking off low hanging fruit vs making out of the box moves.

 

Q claiming he jumped off on purpose is bullshit.

 

He was also salty that Tim was confident that Hunter was far and away the biggest physical threat.

Is anyone else watching deal or no deal island? the show is pretty terrible and the premise is dumb, but damn is it fun watching Boston Rob skate circles around another group of people in a reality show.

 

This is the second time he's asked to be sent home and it's just so damn stupid. He’s also a control freak.

 

A very fun chaotic episode.

Liz is just so wild to me. Tevin laughing crushed him, just wild all around.

Q and Venus are such interesting players

 

Yeah he just couldn’t help himself, letting Ve us take credit was smart but laughing like a maniac about it behind her back was not.

Big fan of him though, hope we see him again when they bring back some all star season type stuff.

 

I agree on liking him. Very fun and smart (laughing aside) player.

This cast has a lot of good all star types

 

Liz is the kind of person you don't want to go to the finals with because she's done very little to piss anyone off (The comments about being a millionaire podcast host were weird). I found her getting mad at Tevin for laughing at Venus to be perplexing. It's pretty clear he was the mastermind behind getting Soda out of the game. She just didn't want to see/hear him laugh?

Tevin was the only entertaining person of the bunch and I think he'll be missed.

Neither one does much for me for very different reasons. Q has no depth to him when it comes to gameplay. His range of emotions swing from one extreme to the other for him to be taken seriously. Who the fuck builds their entire opinion of a person off of a game of hide & seek?

Venus wants to be taken seriously so badly that she's found a way to piss off a different castmate in each of the last four episodes. She's probably the perfect person to take deep into the game because the jury will tear her apart and she won't have a leg to stand on.

 

Your description of Q and Venus is exactly what makes them so interesting. They are so wild and erratic that no one at home is taking them serious but they have such a high opinion of themselves.

 

also the thing about Liz and Soda, was that she just didn’t like her. So the edit showed Tevin coming to her and since she agreed she thought it was her idea? Super weird how anyone other than Tevin could take credit from the editing.

 

I think Ben Maria Hunter and Charlie are likely to work together with the six alliance likey done for.

Kenzie and Tiffany have an interesting situation with Q. You can't trust him to keep secrets, he's a hot head, and he's not very good in challenges. On the flip side, he's a member of your original tribe and you need him for the swing vote in certain situations.

Venus and Liz are wild cards without a home.

All of this makes me want to apply to be on the show lol.

 

For the record, I find Q way more annoying than Venus at this point. He talks about folks playing survivor the old way, while getting mad because Hunter wanted to have a discussion with Marie and Charlie about voting out Tevin.

 

Him being mad about that was the ultimate control freak in him coming out that is going to cost him.

And also how is he so bad at challenges?

 

Not even trying out of frustration? He also said in a previous scene that his belly was full, and that's why he was in a good mood.

He's already told us that he "quit" on a previous challenge.

 

I know he said he quit, but I don’t know how believable it was when he said it.

 

What I don’t understand is why did Q lie to Tiffany by telling her that it was going to be her? What was he trying to achieve there?
