My wife is a super fan and would do well with the mental side of that game. She has a great feel for the game even as I watch with her. I asked her about it even before we had kids and she wouldn’t because of the physical aspects. That also means we would be out on the amazing race (which is probably a good thing for our relationship )
That’s the point of the show. Lose 30 pounds in 3 weeks. I’m too picky of an eater to make it on survivor.
Honestly not a huge rice guy, but they don’t even give them that anymore. It’s the scavenging that has me thinking I’m not gonna eat for a month.
Only after the challenge where people have to sit out to get it. They didn’t get any rice until after the merge.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. Is it because they reduced the number of days from 39 to 26? Some of the seasons from ten years ago had them eating pretty well, and now it's rice coconut, and a few fish if you are lucky.
Random goes against the entire point of outplay, outwit, and outlast. If it goes to rocks then it clearly hasn’t forced people to betray trust, and that’s the whole point.
I recently watched a video on how inbred the Hapsburgs were. IIRC first cousins roughly doubles the chance of birth defects, but it’s still very small. It’s not that likely. It’s when you start stacking a few generations of cousins banging cousins shit goes down
Anyone else start watching " The Traitors (UK/Aussie) on Peacock? Aussie was slightly more entertaining, but both were great... closest thing to Survivor strategy I've seen. Very much worth a watch IMO. Gonna try to get through the US person now, despite the case being former reality TV "stars". Pretty confident this version will be terrible.
Watching season 25 - Philippines, about 10 eps in, my word is Abi a terrible player and absolutely lacks any semblance of self awareness.

I was watching the latest Aussie Gogglebox and they showed parts of the latest eviction and that shit was pretty crazy. Downloading now
They seem to have less idols and twists at the eviction ceremony. Like dude is saying "before we vote, the person voted out will sabotage the other team" and shit like that. On one of the evictions there were like 7 people and he made them all play in a challenge to see which 3 players got to vote for eviction.
It’s a bit like old school US survivor where there are only idols in play. No advantages, extra votes, etc. The first few seasons were pretty ordinary but the last 3-4 seasons have been quality. This was one of the better tribals I have seen in any version of survivor.
What/how many days a week does it come on down there? I notice on some of the episodes the host talks about tomorrow night.
