I feel like I’m getting randomly shot by people as I’m swinging. Not just in those chases either but before/after them. Unless there’s situational fall or “bonked into building” damage… reaction is more Forrest Gump “Somethin BIT ME”
game definitely feels like it sporadically shoots webs at stuff that I don't push shit for too. Most likely a user error somehow
Assume you're just starting off? Just like the overabundance of fighting controls, there's some nuance you'll get used to. Especially if it's been a minute since you've played one of the Spidey games.
Long time listener, First time caller. Controls definitely going to take some getting used to. Probably didn't help I started AC: Mirage, Sekiro and Spidey-2 at the same time trying a little of each. Gonna settle on Spidey for now so hopefully I get more fluent in the controls. You're not kidding there are an absurd amount of button combinations. The only area I'm fluent in is the parry system due to FromSoft
Finished the main story over the weekend loved it, best story of the 3 Insomniac spider boi games city traversal is so good and fun some of the side content needs to be overhauled for the next one it gets repetitive and boring fast imo 8/10
At first I was skeptical of the web wings taking away from web swinging but it just made the movement even better. Combat just gets better and better game to game. I actually thought variety of side activities was better than the first two games, does still need some improvement maybe.
Stopping while using the web sings felt a little unreliable. Like, pulling back and just having him stop over something didn't always work. Otherwise, really great mechanic addition. I fast traveled very little because of it.
Just tap triangle to stop gliding and you’ll fall straight down. Can use L3 to dive faster, I think it might also cancel the wings.
I enjoyed those way more than the chasing flying machine side missions. There was only one mysterium level that was remotely difficult though. They were all easy golds except the one that was like kill everyone in 1 minute.
I didn’t play any of them more than once - just accepted whatever grade I got and moved on. Pretty meh
Yea, pretty sure that was it. It had multiple scaffolding platforms and like 3 guys on each platform. I hated that one.
