Just finished Miles Morales. Having to take out Phin and seeing what happens to her made me feel worse than when I took out Doc Ock. Damn you Insomniac
I should just grab the ultimate version that has all the DLC right? Is the remastered version that comes with miles morales any worth it?
- yes, ray tracing, 60FPS - all 3 storyline DLCs - I would platinum the miles morales version but that requires me to beat it again on New Game +. I’m still fresh off the first playthrough
Finally starting this. 20 years later and swinging through the city is still as fun as ever. Bought the MM Ultimate so I'll swing( ) into that one right after.
Finished MM last night. Like most, sad it was so short. Think it did a good job of keeping it limited to Harlem though. There was no DLC for this one, right?
i've been playing the pc version this week (came free with my motherboard for a new pc build) and this game is incredible. i barely do missions; i just swing and fly around, fight bad guys (and often die), and take photos and find backpacks.
man, i can't believe how fun this game is. i haven't played a single-player game since gears of wars on xbox and usually get super bored with them but i just accidently played for about 2 hours because i was fighting the sinister six (and I'm not even a comic book person). it was super fun! only complaint is that it's kind of dumb to fight the fisk + devil warehouses when the story has advanced past the jail breakout. the calls to mj and yuri seem completely unimportant relative to what is happening in the rest of the city. also, am i able to go back and re-do challenges that i didn't three star? I've been doing them quick just to get some challenge tokens for suits but i want to get 100%.
finished the story + dlc stories 100%. playing on PC so my achievements are steam's so i only need to start a new game, beat the game at the highest difficulty, and go through a base without taking damage to get all of them. pretty sure i just need 1-2 tries in a fisk base for the last one. i loved the game but found the DLC pretty boring. the stories were fine/fun but the 5x crime stops in every district and the challenges were obnoxious.
played MM and replayed the first one recently. definitely agree that MM is the better game. wish the main story was a bit longer, but man does it flow better without all the filler content from the first
GameStop called me about picking the game up at 11pm yesterday. I told them I’ll be in today, get there and the guy was like “I made a mistake calling people, the game releases tonight at 11pm, not yesterday. EDIT: superfly0212 update the thread title to Spider-Man 2 PS5
Live look at me hopping back in thinking I was going to be good at combat and realizing that I suck now
Only got about an hour and a half in but it feels like keeping track of both characters’ movesets throughout the game will be an undertaking. Probably going to take a week off to “forget” the GoW controls after so many weeks playing.
Started yesterday. Game is fun but Pete’s face looks weird in this one and they gave my boy Miles a fuck boy haircut that opening Sandman sequence was an incredible set piece
Never played the first one. Downloaded last night because I'm absolutely stuck in 2 other games I'm playing. Sandman intro fight was awesome. Took a little bit to get used to swinging without slamming into buildings. Combat feels like Jedi Survivor after you get some of the fast movement Jedi abilities. Really don't even touch the ground that often and I love it.
Loved it. Amazing job on the story in my opinion. Successfully made you feel invested in the characters. The villains were really fun. The gameplay was smooth. Some fun moments where you get to play as different characters or Spiders-Men with different abilities. Did not like the drone bird chasing missions. That was my biggest complaint, honestly.
None of the side stuff interests me at all but the combat and the story and the traversal all kick ass
