It’s also that the Red Dead Online trophies are ridiculous and annoying to get.

 

What are they? I grinded online at the start and I ended up just stealing people’s pelts off their horses before they could sell them inside town.

 

Well in RDR you had to do a bunch of stuff with full posse, which almost no one played it online so was hard to get anyone to do it.

RDR2 you have to get max level and MVP of PVP which at least when I played people were using aimbots and it was basically impossible

 

Completely forgot about their different game modes in online. I don’t think I ever attempted them, just stayed hunting

 

Their online could have been amazing if they embraced the role playing aspect of it. But R* caters to the pvp crowd that just wants to run around and grief people.

 

They’re the reason I keep my sidearm loaded with exploding rounds. I don’t even fuck around anymore. They get too close and I just blast them and then unass the area. The crew of chicks dressed in pimp gear are the worst.

 

my friends anticipated a ton of co-op story mode type missions. The ones they gave us were an absolute joke.

those little TDM style skirmishes were fun for like an hour because we branded ourselves the Tomahonkies and used hatches, knives and bow+arrow only

 

R* gameplay is simply not good enough for PvP.

 

Their refusal to map their controls to modern 3rd person shooters in mind boggling

 

And no option to customize the controls. They give no fucks about RDR2. Hell they promised 3 updates last year, including a Yellowstone-esque cattle owner lifestyle option. We got one half assed update that gave us this “capitale” bullshit that doesn’t do anything but take up space in your satchel.

 

I really just wanted to run some missions and take over forts, like RDR. That online was so fun.

If this is real, which I have my doubts because I've seen this rumor before, it won't be made by R*. People can bitch about remakes all you won't but they are here to stay so might as well get used to it.

look, I will play it. and I understand Rockstar releases AAA games at AAA quality so it takes a long time to get new content from them, but it has been five years since RDR2 and we don't even have a GTA6 teaser. I WANT IT

 

I’d be happy if they just have RDR2 online the 3 updates we were promised months ago. They DGAF about anything that isn’t associated with GTA and it sucks. I still play RDR2 a couple or three times a week and it’s legit the same experience it’s been since they originally revamped it years ago.

 

Would love 60 fps for RDR2 for the Series X at this point.

Remaster is somewhat disappointing. I was really wanting a full blown remake with modern visuals.

Honestly at this point the only thing confirmed is the registration of a trademark. There’s still plenty of time for them to not do anything.

 

And on the heels of the remaster news, they’ve let RDR2 online go to complete shit. Servers all fucking suck and they don’t tell you when you go offline anymore. You’ll be playing, racking up shit and go to sell or donate and nothing at your camp or in town works. Fucking bitch ass fucks.
