I've listened to this song about 300 times in a row, and I'm sure it's been posted in this thread. Sorry if it has. I haven't had a chance to look through this whole thread yet. Here's another one I love.
There's so many great Bingham songs that aren't sold anymore. Was like a kid in a candy store when someone on here sent me the dl for Poor Boy's Amen.
I managed to find all of them but his first. Emailed his website and even they had no idea where to find one. It's one of my biggest goals to find a copy
Have found myself listening to this whole concert lately, but especially this cover quite a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSOHhUrDRIs
The lengths that you have go through to find some Bingham songs is amazing. Seems like I find one of his old songs almost everyday that I didn't know existed.
So I listen to the Cory Morrow station on Pandora because it covers the most for my tastes an Bingham has never come on. Pretty disappoint
I just used the Youtube to mp3 thing on Big Country Sky. It still sounds just as good. Forgot how I came about finding Wishbone Saloon or I would help you. My advice is just do the Youtube to MP3 thing unless someone has a link for you.
I have a copy of Wishbone Saloon too, pretty sure I got it on here. Heard he wrote it in high school, not sure if it's true though. I'll see if I can upload it somewhere.
Think this worked. Might want to hop on this early, I didn't rename it so they may remove it. http://www.mediafire.com/?rs9s1cie1ubdvyi Complete with album art
guys. Being in SC I get 90% of my Red Dirt discussion/news from this board, so it was the least I could do.
Forget the name. I'm out of town and on my phone. I'll figure it out when I get back to a computer. I have every one of his other non-released albums plus a few concert recordings if anyone wants them. This includes more than just wishbone saloon, which is awesome btw. His album just called "dead horses" is badass too. He did several self released albums back before he was signed when he was just doing gigs while on the rodeo circuit.
Listened to the previews, sounds good from those. What do yall think of it that have the whole thing? Will likely kop tomorrow
I would be interested in this. I have: Wishbone Saloon Poor Boy's Amen Mescalito Roadhouse Sun Junky Star Live at Shuba's Crazy Heart The Front Porch Show he did with Stoney (never went back and got a good quality of this, so if you have it I would appreciate it) Then I have some live songs he did at Steamboat and a few random singles off Youtube. Anything you have that's not listed I would love. I spent hours looking for a copy of The Dead Horses a couple years ago but was unsuccessful. Also never gave his SXSW a listen.
i do have dead horses. PM me your e-mail and i'll send it to you. Live at Connolly's too with Stephane Beaussart (awesome acoustic show). Lost Bound Rails is the one I can't find to save my life. Believe it was his very first
found another bingham album while looking....again for lost bound rails. it's live at the eagles nest from 2005, also with Stephane Beaussart http://www.filestube.com/43L30VKw0XGb0lrfgULPRd/2005-04-16-Montry-France-Eagle-s-Nest-Disc-2.html
i've got this, it's awesome. new turnpike troubadours is really solid, not as good as diamonds & gasoline, which i still listen to nonstop, but for $10 its good.
Well that's going to frustrate me as well. I've got pretty much everything else he's done. All I found in a quick search was a forum post from a couple years ago with some radio station guy saying he has it, but wouldn't put it back out there in respect to Bingham.
do they play the bands we talk about itt on the radio in texas and oklahoma? always wondered, we get nothing but eli young band (the pop country songs) on the radio here
Yeah, some stations more than other. A lot of country stations will have Texas hours at night. This station is good: http://www.texasmix1053.com/
here is a site that shows how many spins songs get per week (top 50). i usually go here every monday when the new list is posted to see what new songs are out there http://www.texasmusicchart.com/Pages/Chart.htm
The radio station here plays Texas Country songs about every 5 songs. Not too bad. I listen to my iPod most of the time, though.
That Cody Johnson video that they have linked on that site is pretty damn good. Haven't seen him live yet, but that video of him performing in their studio is great.
tried to listen to kyle park, just can't listen to him for more than a song at a time. too whiney sounding.
Cody Canada on the Music Fog stage at Threadgill's during SXSW 2012. This is an unreleased song that Cody wrote for his son, Willy. (Originally broadcast live on Music Fog during a song swap with Jason Eady.)
I think this is the show where he tells a gay condom joke at the end of one of the songs. It's hilarious and so unexpected.
telling you man, it's impossible to find. i've literally been looking for 3 years. it was one of those things where he burned a bunch of cds and passed them out to people. i'm sure there are copies lying around in the back of someone's closet, but on the internet, i think it's a lost cause at this point. sucks, but probably the case.
Just asked the guys in the torrance thread to look on the 2 biggest music trackers known and it's on neither of them. What (the name of the site) is generally considered to have everything...
Any idea when Bingham is going to release his tour schedule? I find it strange that he doesnt have any dates listed yet.
