fuck it. Lets do this for the 1000th time. TLJ was a good movie that absolutely shit all over Luke Skywalker along with some other mistakes that caused irreperable problems for the Star Wars universe. RoS was a horrendous movie from start to finish.
but yes, mostly agreed. iyam, imo, Rian didn’t know what to do with several of the characters (Finn in particular) but had an excellent thing going with Reylo’s interactions. And TLJ remains the single most visually captivating piece of SW content.
Rian deserves ALL of the criticism that was directed toward Kelly Marie Tran. What an asbsolutely BRTUAL character. She had no chance to put in a good performance.
Daughter is going to be happy to hear about new episodes but disappointed that it's the final season.
I get that the clone wars/oG trilogy era has been thoroughly explored, but I will miss it when this show ends.
She wasn't in season 2 You'll probably want to watch the end of the season because something pretty big happened in the last couple episodes.
Tangent here, but I just bought Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga for my kids on Switch... this game looks fun as hell.
Didn't realize Bad Batch was this well liked. So I need you watch it? We watched Clone Wars and Rebels. Loved both.
I don't think we'll liked is the way I'd put it. It's a very clear step down from those other two shows.
Spoiler Quinlan Vos is sent on a secret mission to assassinate Dooku. He befriends Ventress in an attempt to get closer to Dooku. They pair up to do some shit. idk how much more you want.
Spoiler Isn't she dead at this point? I can't fully recall the book but I thought she died there in the Clone Wars era
Spoiler Idk. When I saw Ventress in the trailer, i was going to make a Dark Disciple joke. But couldn’t remember if the timeline matched up. I didnt want to look dumb, so I didnt lol
But also they’re not afraid to change stuff from the books. It happened w the Ahsoka book and some of the stuff in her tv story
Spoiler She “died”. I think Filoni retconned that in an interview a while back and has been waiting to bring her back
They're CLEARLY just for aesthetic purposes and he's just doing micro-force-pushes on the drums in time.
It's quite a bummer to not be excited for future projects. Save us High Republic, youre our only hope.
Excited about the Mando movie being essentially a Star Wars: Avengers event. Sequel trilogy movie is double edged sword. Great that they're moving beyond the original story, but kinda scary that it could be terrible and just kill any hope of expanding the universe.
Would that Mando movie in 2026 mean we're not getting anything else in that story (or Ahsoka) before then? Because if that's the case, I do not like.
No, pretty sure the next season is already in work. The question is does the season lead into the movie or does the movie lead into the season? Not at all. Why would you?
For real though - I bet they could really make them look great if they remastered them. Or whatever it's called
