Good season for the women Extend Ivey, NIL Hidalgo and Miles to the top, get a big transfer, and fire whatever trainer gets four of them injured every year
Dewolfe was a starter all year and played really well at times. They can do better but she was the only transfer with expectations and they were met imo. They need a veteran big who can be a plus player next year, they find that and they are battling SCar. The guards are going to be insane. I renewed my season tickets today, absolute must if you're local and can go. It's the best deal in town by a mile.
It seems like the women basketball team gets a lot of shit lately, I do not follow much but I also heard that they were playing with 6 scholarships players because of injuries. what am I missing here, they seem to be in great shape to win it all next year ?
I mean considering they had 6 players winning an incredibly tough ACC Tourney and going to the Sweet 16 was an A+ season

If they can get a big that contributes and can stay healthy, Final 4 to title are then goals for next year.
I heard Sean stires on the Irish breakdown having to push back on some idiots, so my bad for bringing that energy. I agree, what they have done is incredible and the program seems in a great spot is what I got from it all but wanted to get feedback from people I trust more
I am assuming the only people that consume Irish Breakdown content are MAGA chuds and they do not like Niele Ivey because she is black and had the team involved with BLM protests, no matter what the team does under her they will still find an excuse to discredit her

the atmosphere at lacrosse games this year is honestly incredible. This years team isn’t quite as good as last year, but still incredibly fun to watch. And beating Syracuse in lacrosse is always fun
Also faison gets the headlines but Shawn light has been equally as impressive as a freshman this year. Todd Lyghts nephew and he has grown into a true #1 defenseman. Shut down Syracuse #1 offensive player today. As rare as it is to see a freshman start on offense, it’s twice as rare for one to start from day 1 on defense
ND Men's Swimming just finished 10th at NCAA's, which is 8 spots higher than they've ever been (which was last year). Best team in history by far & they have a guy that will likely be on the US Olympic team & compete for medals this summer. Kind of wild that they have a guy who is the 3rd fastest in history at the 50 free (relay split). Sub 18 seconds has only been done by 4 guys ever.
Reminds me of Kiser. Sacca was a safety before last year and moved down to linebacker. Guy can cover but could see him bulk up and play ILB like Bertrand, should be able to fill multiple roles which I think is what Golden wants out of LBs
i see all of this as a big comedy, I have not completely figured out yet why these people have a job. My best guess is that they are doing the dirty work for us who like to invest too much time on this stupid sport, they contact these kids while we sit at home judging but we are still consuming.
Bummer but hard to do a complete tear down in modern college basketball. 2 medium impact transfers away from probably going slightly over .500 and keeping the team together, now it feels like re-building again next year from scratch with Burton/Booth gone
