the II interview w/ the new AD is quite impressive...that dude sounds like he really knows what he is doing and what ND needs to do as well
Loy's latest recruiting news Spoiler Notre Dame has hosted plenty of commits and targets recently. Here is the latest on a few prospects from the 2025 and 2026 classes. Everyone wants to know about Top247 quarterback commit Deuce Knight. One source said, "The visit was perfect. I can finally sleep at night knowing he's locked in." Obviously anything can happen, but this is the first time in a while the Fighting Irish staff strongly believe he'll stick and remain locked in. Notre Dame believes they are in a very good spot for recently-offered class of 2026 safety Joey O'Brien. The Glenside (Pa.) La Salle College has four offers to his name from the Fighting Irish, Virginia Tech, Duke and Toledo. Notre Dame strongly believes he's leaning heavily to the Irish. Notre Dame remains in very good shape with Top100 cornerback Mark Zackery IV. The Fighting Irish believe he'll go into decision mode after a trip to Florida and they expect him to land at Notre Dame. Notre Dame is, somewhat surprisingly, not worried at all about Top100 receiver Derek Meadows. They believe they lead by a significant margin and fully expect him to land in South Bend. This would be a huge win for the staff. He's different, simple as that. Notre Dame believes they made a move with Top247 linebacker Gavin Nix. They were hopeful he'd leave committed to the Irish, but that didn't happen. They do believe they are in a great spot though. The Irish believe they made a strong move recently with elite class of 2026 cornerback Zech Fort. Long way to go, but they seem to be in his top three and firmly in a great spot. I personally don't expect Notre Dame to land three-star receiver Raiden Vines-Bright and neither does the staff. They would love to be wrong, but that's the feeling. I'll talk to him today and hopefully learn more about their chances. Notre Dame believes they are very much in contention for class of 2026 quarterbacks Noah Grubbs and Troy Huhn. They are confident they lead for Grubbs. Up next Notre Dame will host class of 2026 quarterback Brady Hart. Things are going to continue to get interesting the longer things drag out. Lastly, not a recent visitor, but I feel great about Notre Dame's chances with Top247 linebacker Anthony Sacca. I expect him to commit soon and believe the Irish will get it done. that's too bad about RVB, i really liked him
Yep, and I'm actually sort of kidding. He's on perpetual decommit watch because he's the polar opposite of Drew Pyne/Tommy Rees/3 star ND QB from central casting, but since he committed he has pretty much been a model commitment. He's been on campus like 5 times and appears to be very actively recruiting for us. So I really do think the kid deserves the benefit of the doubt until he steps foot on another campus, but I'm an extremely pessimistic ND fan so there's no way I'm going to let a quote like that slip through without trying to reverse jinx it.
The utility of a big time QB recruit is often greater prior to signing Day than after. As long as he does work now just ride the wave.
Driskell said a week or two ago that his offer wasn’t commitable but if/once it became commitable he was going to jump on it. Sounds like that played out
we all in here have a 20 year history of watching ND get smoked by them in recruiting any position that’s not OL
This thread hasn't even broached the lingering possibility that OSU steals our RB coach. We're growing.
I don’t know about you guys but I am worried that osu will come at our rb coach and take it from us easily
I recently bought an industrial supply house in Columbus. The guy who sold it to me had his office painted scarlet and grey. I am now working in that closet you described ironically
If you need tools DM me, I stock 7 figures in Milwaukee Tool alone (Our website is old) www.spartantoolcolumbus.com
if you ship for free in Quebec I might be interested in the osu tools edit- i see free deliveries so that is a good start
Ship them? Plenty of OSU tools here: https://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/◄◄◄◄◄◄◄◄reload-that-mf-chip►►►►►►►►.184542/
You could also change that sentence to -> your trusted tool since 1978’ I think it would be a good marketing plot
He did. I don't think he is going to leave and I career wise I wouldn't understand it if he did, but he's on their hot board and Ohio State has clearly decided to spend money this offseason. So if they decide to overpay and ND tells him the same thing they told Elko, I wouldn't be stunned. Plus I think it would be like 50/50 that we just turn around and hire Alford away from Michigan which would be funny as hell.
Got passed eh? Realistically he’s 5-6 depending on development. Morrison Gray Mickey Bell (hopefully) Behind Clark as a slot.
It’s so weird to see all the academic restrictions no longer as an issue to getting guys. I was one of those idiots. Turns out it was effort not books.
We all bought it, and it is still a thing for a low percentage of kids, but, effort, evolution of admissions, and "smart" being cool with younger generations (past the Gen X, cool not to care shit) seems to be helping a lot.
The refs are making Hidalgo take out the nose ring she has played with all year, which requires the trainers.. The fix is in boys.
And so ends the last posturing group class that was a poster child for bk recruiting failure. That db class was pathetic.
You’re like an uppity ghost. Whenever someone presents a chance for you to show us you’re better than us you appear lol.
I'm not better than anybody, but I won't be lumped into the group that told me I was wrong. And it wasn't just me. Own your own stupid opinions and don't make yourself feel better by pretending everyone else had them.
Yup it was just me. I did own it you ass. Just don’t act like you didn’t come here for some holier than thou moment. It’s all you fucking do. Now that you got your credit, back to your goddamn hole. Weird you quoted someone else who did it then said it was me. Whatever. I guess it was just me
He was shitting on me for saying "we all" iirc he lead the charge on the issue, he must have deleted the posts, but I feel like they existed and that is good enough.
I started the whole we talk as a joke. He can just be insufferable at times. If he wasn’t directed at me I apologize. I know he wasn’t one. Just thought it was weird he magically appeared to remind everyone what we all knew.
it was pretty easy to see that you were talking generally, you can’t just post that and type out everyone that never had a post complaining about that. Next time just use ‘normal nd fans ´ to make sure you do not offend thoros :)
