This basketball team likely won't live up to the last couple years IMO. But they are going to be fun to watch. Brey has increased the talent level incredibly from what he had when he started. We are a big away from being right back in contention.
I'm watching today. We do suck this year but I still enjoy it. Would like to see them bounce back. It has been a rough season on everyone, especially those inside the program. They deserve some relief, if only for a weekend.

I don't think it's fair to judge Zaire based on his performances this year in garbage time. He's almost certainly checked out, and he looked very good before he got hurt. Coming in here and saying he sucks is just lame.
He looked great against Texas last year. He was straight awful against uva before he got hurt. And sucked against Texas this year. I hope he goes somewhere and kills it next year, but that's not likely given what we've seen

Good question... I agree, it's impossible to judge Zaire based on his playing time this year...almost, I was really disapointed in him in the Texas game.
I never had him but remember seeing him on the finance faculty directory. We did have John Affleck Graves for a one day class and I always see him on the field during games during the presentations during commercials.
Carl was my favorite business professor at nd. Jag is jjust the man. been fortunate to work with him the last 5 years. Consistently reminded just how smart he is.

The big question is does this improvement have a ceiling? Do they go 7-5 next year or improve to 10-2? If the latter, he just might be the real deal.
Jesus. Irish defense under BVG allowed 6.18 YPP. That would rank 104th today. Irish defense since change has allowed 4.7 YPP. That would rank 12th.
