27 years to the day from that inaugural match. That Man U match was so much fun. Jimmy Conrad got a straight red and committed a PK about 30 minutes in. 3/4 of the stadium was cheering for Man U to start. Jimmy Nielsen stood on his head the entire second half, Davy Arnaud tied it, then Kei rose up and headed in the game winner to thunderous cheering. Even the blokes in Rooney jerseys were cheering for KC by the end. The next season they rebranded to SKC, second half of the season CMP opened up, and the Soccer Capital of America was born.
