Alexa might be a bigger psycho than him. She thinks she's Giselle in her prime. SK also going thru another engagement situation when he's been cheatin'...he sucks too.
The men outside Brennan were just such trash this year. The women were pretty good or interesting outside Colleen who just is boring and dumb.
I'm actually surprised he doesn't have a DV charge to his name. The editing for these last three episodes was awful. The entire Nicole/Bartise situation has zero context.
Brennan has a few screws loose himself. Getting so mad at Cole that you can’t speak with him because your wife’s friend has beef with him is just weird energy. Meanwhile he’s married to a zionist who clearly has control issues and materialistic values. It wouldn’t shock me if Alexa’s dad ends up naming their kid. That being said, Cole’s interaction with the stepmom was cringe. He’s a cartoon character that the EP’s clearly don’t mind giving a bad edit imo.
Brennan and his entire family converted to Judaism for Alexa. That’s insane and the strangest thing anyone on this show did.
The "We're more Israeli than Jewish" line by the dad during the season should have been a glaring red flag for Brennan.
In Brennan's defense, sadly the vast majority of Americans would never pick up on the undertones of that statement. Brennan seems like a nice guy. It's weird because he's seems perfectly happy to get walked all over by Alexa and her family, but somehow doesnt come off super pathetic for doing it. Cant imagine what would/will happen there's an issue where he's on the other side and doesnt fold.
Yeah, most Americans wouldn't bat an eye at the comment (Which isn't a good thing). I would imagine that when the time comes, he will stick up for an issue that isn't popular with Alexa. She'll hold it against him for some time. I think she's entirely trying to get a Netflix spinoff by her behavior in the final episode.
Man, I forget about these shows as soon as I watch them. Only thing I really remember is her wearing that outrageous dress and acting entitled as she always is. But nothing specific .
The energy between her and her father is bizarre (Side note: I don't think her father is as wealthy as they like to make it seem). I think she's chasing the Netflix bag, especially after they caught hell for not having body positivity in the previous seasons. Alexa just feels like she can only hit one tone in this series. Everything is about her sex life and how materialistic she is. She comes off as an extremely surface-level individual that takes notes on how to act on reality shows.
New season is an absolute train wreck ready to happen with no charismatic characters besides one couple
Does anyone else notice the coloring of faces are really off in some scenes? It's either really bad makeup, really bad lighting, or something in post production, but it's super distracting when these people have grey toned faces
I like the three main couples even though I know Kwame is going to do something stupid. Going to be such a dumb season, can't wait.
This is the first season where multiple regrets and they are just openly letting people go for other folks in the pod. Irina is arguably the most obnoxious person to ever be on this series.
I think he's a socially awkward dude that probably has a better time communicating with the opposite sex via apps or sms. We learned very little about Irina and once she became Micah's sidekick she became a villain. Pretty poor planning on her part to tell Micah that she's in love with Paul when Micah is her only friend in the group. I'm also trying to figure out what part of Louisiana Paul is from after his "I've only dated witches and granola type of girls" comment. He said New Orleans but I don't buy that. On the other couples, I had a feeling Marshall's masculinity would become a problem Jackelina. Especially after her comments about her ex. She's got some problems imo. I wish Amber would have gotten more air time on the show so we could weed out the 2nd husband story.
Yeah, they all live in Seattle. But Paul went out of his way to say that he was from New Orleans. Which can be a catchall statement for anywhere in South Louisiana.
Probably. You can certainly find the witch types in New Orleans as well. He just gives off a certain type of vibe that he was born on the Northshore or Metairie but claims New Orleans because people actually know where that is. I also don't remember Micah ever saying where she was from.
In the pods, I was legitimately cringing about the potential of Zack - who seemingly showed deep seeded emotional issues - eventually matching with a god awful human in Irina and what that could mean for his well-being. He ended up handling Mexico really well though and didn’t allow Irina being who she is to impact him too much. Good for him on that front.
After their first interaction in the pod, I was never more sure a couple in any season would be together forever.
Wife and I are only through 3 episodes, but Irina and Micah have established themselves as quite easily the worst people to be on this show, already lapping Jessica from season 1 and Shaina from season 2.
When the other girls woke her up it seemed that she was at the very least pretty tipsy/buzzed, but to me it seemed like she was drunk. Based on Brett's response it seems like it may not have been a big deal.
All caught up after last night and sharing some thoughts. Irina is the perfect combination of being a terrible person and completely unattractive. I understand that editing plays a big part in how we perceive a lot of these people but I don't feel like we have seen 1 good interaction from Irina, its shocking that any guys liked her. I think Micah just sort of "tagged along" with Irina as they were closer in age than some of the other girls, I don't know that she is nearly as bad as Irina. She also had an odd look to her that I cannot figure out. Kwame is an absolute idiot and 100% is still in love with Micah. I understand that it can be tough but man, just not even hiding it in the slightest. I feel bad for Zack, he seems to be a relatively good guy that's just a little awkward, which is surprising given his upbringing. It seems the guys all generally like him but the younger pack of girls despise him. I am curious if Bliss comes back around if he is a little more natural/normal with everyone. Its obvious that he realized right away that Irina was the wrong choice.
They showed a small interaction between Zack and Bliss and he looked just as uncomfortable and awkward as always also I think Irina wasn’t just a bad edit considering how openly Bliss was hating on her to Zack. He probably saw it as jealousy at the time but now realizes she was right
Irina talking about how she was bullied as a child only to turn around and relentlessly bully other folks, on a highly watched tv show no less, is something
She comes off as someone who is extremely insecure. The bullying. Her issues w the acne ect. Her basically being a mean girl with Micah and the way she dresses comes off as overcompensating big time.
That couple hasn’t given the producers much from an adversity perspective to create drama around. Of course they were going to try to blow something small like that out of proportion.
This plus alcohol and it probably being like 2am and I get it. Guessing producers told the girls to go get her.
