Can’t feel bad for Chelsea. All she had to do was hold it together for like 2 weeks until they got married but she just couldn’t help herself. Seemed like Jimmy, if he was being genuine, really wanted to make it work and gave her several chances

although in reality it was probably over when he saw Jess at the lake house. Interested to see if they’re dating now at the reunion

Clay’s mom talking to his dad was honestly really sad and hard to watch. The realest conversation this season

Amy’s dad obviously the best and johnnys dad looks like he’d be the loudest guy at any bar having some beers with the fellas

I don’t fully understand gaslighting as a phrase I don’t think, but I’m pretty sure that’s what Chelsea did the entire time of this season

 

Jimmy saying that he couldn't "fathom" going to the altar with her was a great moment. He finally just had enough of her bullshit

 

I've heard Chelsea got a really bad edit, but she came off as completely insane. I did find it hilarious that after this whole day at a theme park by themselves Jimmy decided that was the time to break it off.

 

I was hoping once she left the table he’d start eating those untouched sliders

 

Possibly an odd take/opinion, but I thought that Clay's self reflection and openness during the season was somewhat refreshing. He wasnt the best at articulating everything but he obviously has alot of trauma from his father that he is only now opening up about. I also dont think its all that crazy for him to feel as though he wasnt ready for marriage when there were a thousand red flags between him and AD, her "career" seemed to be a big one in the end.

Clays mom having that conversation with his dad was gut wrenching and I felt the worst for her. Its obvoious his dad did some scumbag things and used his kids to cover it up. I cannot imagine what that would do to someone. Its also wild that Clay only told his mom the details during the filming.

Chelsea was her own worst enemy and she obviously never felt comfortable with the entire situation. She has been quite funny and self deprecating on social media, so I do wonder how much of it was a bad edit. That relationship would have never worked and glad Jimmy pulled the plug beforehand. Their situation feels like had it happened in an earlier season, production likely would have pushed him to stick it out to decision day.

Johnny and Amy just seem like a solid couple outside of his weird fear of kids "in the next 5 years".. Outside of that they seem to be a really good match with support families. I will not be surprised to see them last.

 

Chelsea has no choice to be self-depricating and funny on social media...she looks like a lunatic. There are so many instances of her going to crazy town that I just can't see the bad edit angle.

 

I agree. Clay seems like a good guy at heart who gave his best.

The whole time we were watching we kept waiting for someone to bring that up to them. I’d assume they get trolled at the reunion about that.

 

First half of that reunion delivered. I can really do without the recap of other seasons cast mates

It's just always funny to me on the reunion when the Lacheys get on their high horse about the "experiment" and how seriously they take it. Trevor seems like he deserved to be shit on a bit, but they definitely were kicking him while he was down there.

 

Jeramy has to be the worst person to ever be on the show. Not a single redeeming quality. Just a chronic liar and probably narcissist. Sarah Ann just as bad

*It looked like Chelsea was told to bite her tongue and not lose her mind at all during that show, as she had resting bitch face going on quite often but kept it together

*Jessica's beef with Jimmy seemed a little over the top...didn't seem like what he said was all that bad even if he was wrong about the duration of their last meeting

*Laura gave Sarah Anne and Jeremy some good grief

*I know she was pregnant, but Alexa is never not gross to me

*Good for AD for sticking with her word and not going back to Clay....yet

*Matthew is a strange dude...wish he had accepted their invite to come on

To me it looked like Chelsea was just hurt hearing about Jess and jimmys relationship, especially knowing Jimmy is probably more attracted to her

agree about Jimmy on the radio. I was expecting her to drop some bombs but he didn’t really say anything bad.

 

I really hoped Matthew would be there dude seems like a straight up psycho.

I dont really mind them going in on Trevor, thats some weird ass shit to pull not even for the people on the show but also to whatever insane woman he was dating at the time.

 

The folks who didn't feel the need to challenge a guy on grilling his partner over abortion, now freak out because one of the contestants had a girlfriend outside the process. They are fucking weirdos and easily could have cut Trevor out of the filming if it was that pressing.

 

Meh, I think she's fraud as well. I think AD would have done this proposal with anyone who gave her the time of day. She was a hair trigger away from saying yes to Matthew before he copied his speech with Amber. AD strikes me as the type that wants to be influencer famous because of the series.

Her entire interaction with Sara Ann at the cookout was weird. Excellent television, but strange for her to be the moral compass of the group imo.

Also, her interaction with Kenneth on the honeymoon annoyed me.

 

Jeramy's failure to wear socks with oxford shoes is the biggest crime of season six. Once again, these grown men don't know how to dress themselves properly.

 

I like AD...but, you're right in that her interaction with Kenneth was kind of bullshit.

 

Saw a pic where almost all of them at the reunion were wearing oxfords and no socks. Embarrassing

 

Sara Ann and Jermay looked like they were headed to prom in the Florida panhandle.

 

Reunion was solid and overall hit on the parts I was most interested in seeing.

I actually thought the Lacheys did a MUCH better job this year navigating the tougher conversations. I was especially, and pleasantly surprised they pulled all of the social media/internet stories and rumors into the reunion. That was fantastic to watch.

Jeramy and Sara Ann somehow came off even worse than they did going in. She is just a miserable person and I can see how they are together. They both looked hilariously bad in their outfits, which only made it that much better. I thought Laura handle things well and gave the right amount of spite towards them. The entire cast essentially hating them was great too.

Oh man, Trevor got hit hard and he had nothing to say. I will say, I think the entire situation is less weird to me than it was made to be on the show. He had a toxic on-off relationship with someone and wanted to try something different and a chance to try a cool experience. He was honest with her and she knew he was going on, then when he got turned down he went back to her. Was it scummy? Sure, but I never got the impression he was doing it for celebrity status.

Somehow Clay ended up being the MVP for the season to me and I think he was the most interesting. I was impressed with how articulate he was on the reunion and how much self reflection he did. I cannot imagine how fucked up I would be as an adult had my father done what his did. That is repressed trauma and it seems he is getting the help he needed. AD is whatever to me, nothing special but nothing bad.

Jimmy getting dragged a bit was surprising, as was the insinuation that he was somehow in the wrong at any points with Chelsea. I also found the attacks from Jessica strange.. he was asked why he didn't choose Jessica and answered the questions. I personally thought she got a bit crazy in the pods the moment she sensed he was leaning the other way.

Johnny knowing nothing about birth control or understanding to just use condoms was wild to me. "I had to do research" on anything related to birth control or contraceptives is the craziest thing to me. Any sexually active guy has a baseline understanding of how things work. I dont think he is lying, but its still strange.

I actually liked them involving the previous cast members and couples. Brought a different dynamic at times and I liked getting updates from them. Wouldn't mind seeing that return.

 

Like i dont really think Clay is lying and i think its fine to chose like he did. but dude just talks so much in circles that it makes him sound like he’s full of shit. man stop talking we get your point.

Yea my take is he’s being honest but having grown up idiolizing his fathers “smoothness” he doesnt really know when to stop talking because its his idea of being smooth.

BUT i could also easily see me being wrong and he’s just full of shit.

I ended up liking Clay and just think his parents really fucked him up. Him talking in circles came off to me as just not feeling comfortable talking about it on TV.

Such a good season overall. Very entertaining.

bruh I was thinking the same thing. On top of Jermay saying that he went on the show because they did background checks on all the contestants.

 

I thought the reunion started off hot but then about half way was boring. I wanted more on Chelsea/Jimmy and the white girl/gay black guy that ended out of nowhere.

I’m guessing they stayed away from Chelsea and Jimmy because they both got attacked so much on social media. Chelsea obviously had some issues so they probably just wanted to stay clear for her sake.

The Kenneth & Brittany relationship is still just the strangest thing to me. I still have no clue what happened or what their deal is. Calling, FaceTiming and just talking to each other everyday is so weird.
