i really do like kanye west. and i like most of the new rappers but i think biggie is the goat and todays rappers arent even close to him. i like older rap much more than todays rap. Watch the throne and my beautiful dark twisted fantasy both were fantastic but theres something about kanye's approach that bothers me. he tries to be artistic in his videos like run away or no church in the wild and then his lyrics have nothing artistic in them at all. it kindof reminds me of the shit nicki minaj and lady gaga do, they try to be controversial in their videos and how they dress and then lyrically theyre fucking simple. What made me start thinking about this was a video i saw where somebody made a video based on the lyrics of a biggie song and it worked out like a movie so i thought about how a video would work with one of kanye's songs. his lyrics dont follow any sort of plot or overall theme, one line hes talking about racism and the next line is who he sat with at the allstar game and the next line is what car he drives. /rant

yea i mean kanye is definitely one of the best rappers right now but thats not saying much. seriously who is his competition drake and lil wayne... personally i like lupe fiasco and jay electronica ... but comparing him to biggie is like saying lebron sucks because he's not MJ
i'd rather listen to a kanye cd than a lupe cd but those are two rappers i can say lyrically arent so terrible

Rumors flying around Twitter and a popular Kanye message board that something noteworthy is going to happen with the GOOD music album tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a formal announcement tomorrow, with Lamborghini Murci coming out on Good Friday.
I hate following rumor shit sometimes. No guarantee anything will come out tomorrow, but Cyhi the Prince (on a couple MBDTF songs, member of GOOD) tweeted that new music is coming next week. Standing by my Good Friday prediction.

Kanye will be doing an Unplugged performance in May. He should consider getting the Roots for his backing band like Jay-Z did.
