I need a recommendation for dinner for somewhere on Staten Island (I know) or somewhere that wouldn’t be a pain in the ass to get to. I have a car
Anyone been to the new Jose Andres restaurant at the Ritz in Nomad? Going to be up for a few days in March for work. Wife coming to meet me on a Friday night and we booked a table with some friends. Looks great but obviously very new.
Going to be in NYC this weekend. Catching the Knicks game Friday and then have all day Saturday to roam. The hotel is between Central Park and Times Square so any recs of places to eat would be highly appreciated
Felt it in park slope. It swung a few doors open. Probably need to order F&F for dinner to calm my trauma.
I was in the lincoln tunnel, bus jumped I thought we blew a tire for a second, very bizarre. My wife says it sounded like a tree hit our house in north jersey
reporting in from half a block from F&F rattled my cupboards and dishes around ran downstairs and my favorite 60 year old guido guy was yelling “4.8! A fawkin 4.8!”
Lunch at Harry's yesterday. Really well priced wine list for those looking to open up some special stuff. Colorado lamb was excellent and service was spot on.
Shot in the dark here, but I have two tickets to Tyler Childers at MSG on May 29 if anyone is interested.
thanks for the rec. we made a last minute trip and saw it last night. Incredible performances that I would have been sad to have missed
Hosting a dinner fundraiser in Manhattan in Mid May for 35 people. Originally was going to do Il Buco but for logistics reasons have to do it in midtown west-ish. Guest of honor coming from Columbus circle. Any suggestions for private event space? Looking at Bad Roman, Blue Willow….new to the private event space game so any suggestions are welcome!
I recently hosted a work dinner at Bad Roman and had a great time. Booking process was good, night of staff was great, food was just like regular menu for the most part. Slack was doing a larger event there same night too. Highly rec their brands for events
where are you staying and what are you looking for? Irish bar to watch sports at? Cocktail place? Somewhere to grab a drink and some good food?
Wanted to run faster than 2 hours. Unofficial 1:52:56 Those Flatbush stretches were a grind, man What about you?
Awesome. Great job, man. God, Flatbush sucked. I was 1:52:26. I took me almost as long to find my wife after the race because of no cell service. Peter Luger’s tonight.
Staying at the Wyndham. Right near the Garden. Looking for pretty much all the above. Especially a nice cocktail bar to take clients
Keens is a good call for dinner. Next door is a solid cocktail bar called The Ragtrader. You are in a bit of a middle ground and could head over to Hudson yards for Zou Zous. There is also a Wolfgang’s close by and Arno’s is a classic Italian spot that is always good but pricey.
Not my most knowledgeable area but nice bars to take clients maybe inside Ci Siamo. Osamil and Koloman would be cool
