I feel like so much of Tigers game is still there for him to compete. I just don’t know if he can build the endurance to stay with it for 4 days. He likely needs to be playing in 6-8 tourneys in addition to the majors to give him a shot. Just not sure if he’s able to do that, but I have to believe he’s playing a good amount of golf to look like he did on Thursday and Friday.
Scottie with some very uncharacteristic errors so far. He'll get it reeled in but this is giving me all sorts of hope. LFG Max!!!
Tiger can't putt like he used to. For all his memorable shots, the guy was a killer on the greens. That's gone now.
The move didn't make any sense, outside of just wanting more money. He seems like a big student of the game, yet went and played for a tour that is the opposite style of the history. Glad he's miserable. He made plenty from the PGA Tour, he didn't need to make the move for money. I get why others did it Brooks - joined after recent injuries prevented him from competing with the top guys Cam - wanted money and less work Bryson - a weirdo Phil - needed money to gamble the rest - people with little shot on the tour
He was clearly sold a bill of goods that his move would force the PGA Tour to finalize a deal with PIF and reunite the game of golf. That obviously did not happen.
Phil is his buddy. You'd think Phil would have had him prepared for some cold shoulders. It is what it is. And Rahmbo is cooked mentally.
Yep, the second he announced he was moving to London full time it became obvious he wouldn’t be a PGA Tour player for long
I’ve always been a huge Rory fan, but fuck it, and fuck him, take the money and go away. He sees what he’s competing against now.
Is there a good read on what’s the best case scenario on how all of this turns out between PGA, DP and LIV?
Yeah because he would be the first person to deny something and then do it anyway. Do you really believe that LIV has never made him an offer as he claims?
Was just talking about my golf bag elsewhere and I realize I never followed up itt about my Sub 70 experience I went out to their warehouse in Sycamore, IL and did a fitting and it was pretty great. They were one-on-one and the guy was great. Even added a little lesson for free too. I ended up getting Mizuno irons instead but went with the Sub 70 949x hybrid and the Sub 70 Forged wedges and the hybrid/56* wedge are by far my best clubs in the bag now So if anyone is thinking direct to consumer, I was scared of DTC but since I lived close to their place I tried it and loved it
Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX Hybrid 80 Smoke/Black, 5.5, Graphite, Hybrid Shaft $197 including tax shipped in the end
ZeroPointZero here are the options if you're picky. It's $189 base (if you don't have any discounts) then a shaft upgrade
which Mizunos did you get? I saw those Masters edition green Mizunos at the place I did my driver fitting a couple weeks ago and they were looking sweet even if I hate green and they were $3K
Yeah those were amazing, but you'd never want to hit them. I got the Hot Metal Pro 923s. My six-month review is that they obviously have jacked up the strength of the lofts but still get high launch angle. So my 8 iron goes just as high as it used to but just goes 20 yards further. Which means no need for a 4/5 iron anymore and instead I got a GW to fill in the gapping on the lower end of my distances. I like them a lot though
Love my Mizuno irons. The lofts are definitely a bit lower than my previous clubs, but they feel amazing.
the shitty fitters have definitely been told to stroke our fragile male egos when we go in there. ooh look at you big boy, hitting an 8 iron* 150 yards you stud *with the same loft as your old 6 iron
Played for the first time in a while today, as my wrist has been injured. 1 over through 4 with a birdie, hit my tee shot on 5 then proceeded to completely bust my ass on a muddy spot coming off the tee box. I left right after that with a bruised ego and a reinjured wrist
