Feel like there's a middle ground between that and Freya just standing there not doing a thing. Maybe it's just me, I dunno.
I think I fucked up. I used the seeds to unlock the Alfheim realm and not the one for the squirrels side quest
Do y'all have a setup you like best with the amulet? I find myself running the non realm specific stuff the vast majority of the time.
I was typically going for stuff that buffed my damage. I can't even remember which realms buffed melee damage now.
All I have left is Midgard and Muspelheim to 100% it. Midgard is 1 piece of lore, 2 artifacts, 1 buried treasure and the Berserker King. Muspelheim is 9 more crucible which I'm sure I'll dread (I've done the first 6) and of course that bitch the Gna. That doesn't seem like much left to have Midgard at 91%, Muspelheim at 58% is easier to see.
Of course that leaves the labors like killing so many enemies. It never gave me credit for killing some fire troll so I have no idea how I'm going to get that checked off, it's not like it respawns. It only gave me credit for killing Miklimunnr in Tyr's old prison, Visi Haglkorn in Midgard, and Daudi Vordor that breaks your fall when you're looking for Tyr. There was another I killed in Vanaheim I think and it never gave me a codex entry for it.
Having said that, I'm not actually sure if I found the mystical heirloom to awaken trolls or not. Guess I'll have to go searching for that one.
It’s pretty easy to find in Midgard and you can unlock 4 trolls with it so you’ll be good on that labor
so my girl got me a PS5 bundled with Ragnarok as an early Christmas gift, about to jump into it and see what it's all about
Elden Ring might still win game of the year but Ragnarok should sweep every other category, and Bear McCreary needs a statue and 4 years of reparations for the travesty of GOW 2018 not winning best soundtrack
I've played both and it's honestly not even close for me. GoW is just a better made game by a lot of metrics.
I’m not sure if it is the game or just that I’m older but the combat is much harder than it was in the last GoW.
I went into an explorable library, and am now Locked in a fight before I can get out, to a named Light Elf. She keeps whooping my ass, and I’m playing on normal difficulty, lol. Already used my res stone before the fight.
She was a tough. I struggled with that one too. I struggle with all the elves though for some reason.
use the stonewall shield if you're not good at parrying, then just double tap on the blue ring attacks
The first skill check boss for me was the duo Berserker boss grave while being underleveled to the point where their basic attacks 1 shot me. Took me 11 or 12 hours to kill and didn't even realize I spent that long.
This is what I thought as well. Took me 3 nights to beat Hrolf, like 3 hours to beat Gna Gna is nowhere near as difficult as Sigrun was. The jump attack is way easier to play around than it was in 2018, and the only attacks that aren’t telegraphed are if she combos into a red attack immediately after another attack. I platinumed over the weekend, gonna go for another playthrough when I have time cuz I absolutely loved this game and I’m sure I missed some story nuances the first time.
Nope, we’re not doing this. Accessibility in gaming is critical. This isn’t a Miyazaki game. Everyone should be able to enjoy everything this game has to offer.
I’m down to the Crucible to get the plat. Obviously saved Gna for very last so I can pop the final 2 trophies while standing over her corpse.
