Saw the first two episodes. I like it. The one main character who is with the knights though, he has a weird and creepy smile. It makes me uncomfortable.
Pretending that the singing that plays during The Ghoul theme is actually Walton Goggins just making random noises and yodeling
Just finished it that was real fucking good and nailed the feel of Fallout perfectly. So many good references to the games too. looks like they’re doing Spoiler New Vegas for season two and the correct and best ending will be the canon
So does anyone know what it is some people are mad about? Something to do with retconning parts of the games?
A lot of weirdos out there are upset about the chalkboard with the timeline in Spoiler Vault 4 . It shows what happened in Shady Sands as taking place before the events of New Vegas. Meaning the NCR would not have been around for New Vegas. It’s bullshit as there’s dozens of references to the NCR being spread thin and on its last legs all throughout New Vegas, hell you can nuke Shady Sands yourself in Fallout 2. It’s just manufactured outrage from media illiterate chuds looking to shit on something new because it’s reaching new audiences and they hate Todd Howard who is the reason New Vegas even exists.
Also it probably means the show will go with the House ending of NV as “canon” for the show which is the correct move to make
maybe, maybe not, it’s all conjecture what I do know is that Todd seems perfectly fine with NV being part of the timeline and that’s all I’m worried about
Binged it, loved it. Will be replaying some of the series now. I think I’ve only played New Vegas, 4 and maybe 76.
Christopher Nolan makes a movie about the making of the atomic bomb Jonathan Nolan comes in the following year and makes a TV show about what happens when the bombs get dropped Is there a better pair of siblings
I started playing 76 the other night and now I can't get this out of my head... bongo bongo bongo I don't want to leave the Congo, oh no no no no no.
I don’t like 76 at all. 4 plays better and is fun, but 3 and NV are the best and even for me as the two best
I actually don't think I ever finished NV. 3 was my first entry to the series and remains the GOAT for me. It was the first non-turn-based RPG I can remember throwing so many hours into.
I only tried playing 76 recently because it was super cheap and I was curious. Probably done with it. Tried to replay 3 and it kept crashing so I said fuck it and restarted 4 yesterday.
Is there some essential mods for 3 or NV to make it more enjoyable gameplay-wise in 2024? I want to play but am pretty certain the gameplay from 2008 will make me quit within 2 hours. Would like it to be on par with FO4 feeling ideally.
Show was great outside of episode 2 (Ghoul vs Maximus fight was extremely bad imo). I never played 1,2, and Tactics, so I started 1 the other day. I'm planning on playing them all and then getting into 76 after. I can't say I'm looking forward to playing 4 again, so I might bow out of that one quickly and just watch some YouTube vids.
Agree on 2 being the worst episode. 4 has been the best. Super duper mart, vault stuff, etc. New Vegas has been so fun playing thru it again
finished ep4. last night, think I'm gonna give this game a shot....haven't really been following along with the game chat, running under the assumption I should start with the first game?
Fallout 3 and NV are the best games. But they are dated and buggy at times. That part of the game. 4 looks the best but the true Fallout experience comes form 3 and NV
you don’t really need to play them in any order. Really 3, NV, and 4 in that order is preferable but 3 and NV are really old
