I've never played a Fallout game, so I have no idea what to expect. The preview scene on the last page looks pretty similar to Twisted Metal.
My episode 1 thoughts Spoiler Not gonna throw out too many thoughts. I’m not one for fan service but they do have a lot of the lore and game nailed down. I think the first episodes story was good. Maybe a better story than any game’s first chapter. Jury is out for me on the two younger actors and the use of slow-mo for some of the action.
Posted my initial thoughts on the fallout game thread. More appropriate here. Made it through 4 episodes. Good, but not great so far. . Really only issue I have so far is too much long music sequences. I get what they are doing, but some long drawn out scenes with just music over it for too long too often in episodes.
My biggest issue is everything looks too clean and green. Like, where the hell is everyone getting all these new white t shirts at?
Just finished episode 6. Won’t say much, but some nice mystery and twist building, etc Definitely getting more interesting as it goes
Finished. Enjoyed and lots of story left. Spoiler on to New Vegas it seems. Still haven’t even brought out death claws and super mutants. Can’t wait for season 2
Finished it on my flight and loved every second. Feels like there has been a solid buzz about the show so hopefully it gets picked up soon.
Halfway through. It's an absolute masterclass in how to adapt a game to a TV show. There's soooo many nods to the games but they never shove it in your face. Gory, funny, good acting, and just perfectly encapsulates the feel of the game and it's universe.
Through 5 episodes and it’s been awesome. Timing it with a PS5 upgrade for Fallout 4 on the 25th will necessitate a replay

Finished it this morning. As someone who never played the games, it was meh to fine I thought. The plot was a little thin, and it may have been flat out bad if not for Goggins.
I’ve spent 100s of hours possibly over a 1000 on fallout 3, NV and 4. They did a pretty good job nailing the world, themes, etc. Also of course so many Easter eggs.
Big fan, and while it’s definitely not perfect, it’s fun and fits the humor of the games well. I don’t like some of the actors’ performances, but overall great show
Episode 4 was by far the best. Mainly because it was just the best parts of the game. not much of an Easter egg guy, I think fan service sucks. But that was really what is good about the game.
