1st the cleats with the tweets calling him a bust. Then the hot week after making your bust rankings. Now a HR after you said he's just hitting a lot of singles We sure he isn't in this thread?
Should I troll another Tik Tok Star (Colt Keith's girlfriend)? She posts outfit videos before every game. "Hey Love your Videos. Are you going to continue these when Colt is playing in Toledo next week?"
Yo Keith. Hit the fucking ball man. You’re leaving me no choice, but to drop the B word come Saturday
The work that Fetter has done since he got here of putting out competent bullpens built almost entirely around no-name AAAA guys has been amazing since he's been here.
Meadows, Kelly, and Greene all had solid hard hits in that inning. I’m glad Greene finally got rewarded.
I dumped Maeda from my fantasy squad last week because he was sucking, so you're welcome for his good performance tonight.
he just signed his new contract a few months ago. Will likely see the new bust over the summer. Takes about 6 to 9 months to get appointment these days.
Based on everything I've ever read about him and not seeing the play before reading the tweet, I would have bet a lot of money he flipped his helmet off as he rounded 1st to make sure the flow was on display heading into third.
Need Max Anderson to start tapping into some of his power profile and we’ll have a stew going. Colt Keith is the frustrating one right now. His K and BB rates are fine, so he isn’t completely overmatched, but he also can’t get the ball out of the end zone, and is hitting .200 on balls in play, which is still somehow better than his actual average.
This post brought up an interesting point that I don’t know why I never considered before: why do baserunners continue to wear batting helmets after they are on base? There doesn’t seem to be a need. They take off their leg and elbow guards, etc once they reach base. Why does the helmet stay on?
There's still risky situations with throws and batted balls. The 1st and 3rd base coaches wear helmets now. Guys get hit by errant throws or tags while sliding somewhat regularly.
I think it’s good to keep it on at first for pickoff attempts, and possibly throws down to second on SB attempts. Once you get to second, most guys could maybe do without it for the most part, but they aren’t gonna delay the game so someone can run out and grab your helmet.
