I think both WV and CAWS both did tremendous justice and storytelling for all of the title characters and even the other side characters like Agatha/Darcy/Monica and Zemo/Karly/Walker/Val/Sharon/Isaiah
Exactly. Like I’m most interested to see how he interfaces and gets used by JLD. His character growth for me will always be dependent upon those around him.
Walker straight up lied to Lemar's parents' face about who killed their son then that topic is never brought up again and we end the season with his strutting all over the place with a "I'm back!" and we're suppose to like him? lmao
I’ve only watched the episodes once but is that true? I thought he said it was a “terrorist” which is exactly how he viewed them.
I think the interesting thing about his character is that he really thinks he is the good guy, but doesn't realize that what he's been taught as "good" is just so misguided that he is nothing of the sort. He shows that he wants to be the good guy when he opts to try to save the truck in the finale. JLD is going to corrupt him even further exploiting his misguided notions of right and wrong.
I just finished a rewatch with the wife and caught the “you built me” line from his show trial, which resonated quite a bit
If they wanted us to like Walker, they failed miserably to the point where I just don't believe it's true. At no point during the first 5 episodes did I think they wanted me to believe he was anything more than an arrogant prick who didn't deserve the role he was chosen for. I'll buy that they wanted him to redeem himself in the finale and that maybe they hoped we were happy to see it, but that's it. If they actually wanted to like Walker the entire time, that explains a lot about some of the issues the show had.
I wonder if all he meant was in reference to Walker trying to be the hero and rescue the car midway through the last episode. It was a "redeeming" moment, where you thought he might at least go out a hero, or maybe even do a complete face-turn. I don't know any way to watch his final scene ("I'm back!") and not conclude he's a villain. He's not a "I'm bad and I know it" kind of bad guy; he's more of a villain too stupid to to know he's being manipulated by Lady Hydra.
Well who knows if that's the character she's playing. I'm sure she'll be something reminiscent, without being a direct translation
I thought she was S.H.I.E.L.D. and known as Nick Fury's love interest but I only read her wiki. Spoiler she also was a Skrull at one point
First off, it's Madame Hydra, you fucking heathens. Second, I like the idea of turning Sharon into Madame Hydra.

So if Peggy and Howard were heavily involved in the founding of Shield, and apparently Howard had some level of SSS with him when he was killed, they probably new about Bradley, right?
