How is it that they spent a quarter of a billion dollars and their in-game voip is still so terrible?
Reading that the update causes console players in party to all get booted when the leaders hits search for game.... something they had at launch and "fixed" Hopefully that gets a hot fix before warzone drops or is just a MP issue bc that'll put a little damper on the WZ2.0 release if you can't squad up
I don't like that the voice chat volume setting in the settings menu is the only way to adjust the volume. I've got a headset that has autonomous game/voice volume and it works for every other game and MW19. Now if I wanna stay on comms and there's an annoying fuck trying to give me instructions on how they would play while spectating in SnD mode I have to adjust settings mid-game. added it to quick setting menu but still. dogshit
Yea we do too normally in XBL or just have voice chat set to in-game party only. I like to use comms in SnD though when not playing with my group
I bought the multiplayer for the first time in probably four years. Have been enjoying a bit. Warzones my jam though. Super excited but not enough to take a day off..
Looks like the DMZ is gonna be more like the Dark Zone in The Division than some form of Escape from Tarkov. Thoroughly enjoyed The Division so if done even remotely right, could definitely be a fun change of pace. I believe weapons and stuff you get from the DMZ only are usable for the upcoming Raids mode, with the exception of actual gun blueprints you get inside. The M13 is currently only available as a weapon to extract out of the DMZ and carries over to MP/WZ but they said it'll have challenges to unlock it in multiplayer as well. Or through buying skins which is the first major cash grab for a gun locked in a mode that a lot of people probably have no interest playing
Huge fan of the map and the feel. Don't mind the movement feeling slower than WZ1 at all. Backpack system is a bit of a mess and could be improved a little. When I got in lobbies that were actually full yesterday it was fun as hell. The bugged lobbies that we dropped in with ~100 people felt too empty, so hopefully that gets fixed.
I’ve only gone into the DMZ solo, to get the M13, but it seems really lame. Tho, Tarkov is not my kind of game, either.
It’s more similar to the Dark Zone in the Division than Tarkov. There’s no sense of risk/reward or straight fear in DMZ. It’s shoot AI after AI, some boring missions, and the occasional player who you have no idea is different than the AI besides them using vehicles and being red on the mini map.
I haven't played it yet but there's a certain jankiness to tarkov that cod could never emulate. The player base wouldn't tolerate it Tarkov also has a sense of humor. There's also a level of complexity that just would never work with cod. Not making any judgments but it's just not that kind of game. Maybe not even with consoles in general
Pretty much this but we actually enjoyed a lot of the missions. Wish they would have some that are more linear style and lengthy similar to The Division. The tier 2/3 missions are a lot better than the first 4 tier-1 missions. At a minimum the DMZ is a good way for people to get acclimated to the new WZ2 looting/backpack mechanics and the map itself
Am I missing it, or does Warzone not have regular Trios? 2 friends and I had a group together and the only options were solo, duos, and squad.

FYI the loadouts in WZ2 don't disappear when a team gets them. Just their pings on the minimap. The loadouts stay where they are for the rest of the match for anyone who wants them. Just gotta remember buildings or whatever that they land by so you can get them later on

Saw TeeP using the RPK so I leveled it and kitted it. Thing absolutely rips with minimum recoil. Highly recommend if you’re still searching for a primary AR.
probably gonna be the first gun that gets nerfed. Reminds me of the PKM in WZ1 but without the slow af belt reload. I’m running that with either a 2-3* ground loot MP5 or buying my MP5 also. Got my first 1v4 wipe with that 2* MP5.
You can build a Vel-46 to be a laser beam that’s super light and accurate but it doesn’t feel like it does as much damage as the MP5. The fennec shoots rounds so fast that it seems to make up for the damage per round. always preferred the mp5 bc it seems to have better damage at range than other smgs. The inventory system makes running 2 ARs possible though and I could see testing out a super mobile M13 bc of the rate of fire as a secondary.
I really want to level dual P890s but it has to get nerfed soon. I’m going to be pissed if it is not nerfed by next weekend and I missed out on it.
Ok someone help me out here, seems like my aim assist settings are not like everyone’s else, my gun doesn’t seem to get sucked into the enemy like everyone else’s or what I see on a kill cam. It’s almost like I have to do the aiming. I have it set to black ops and linear but seems like other people have better aim assist then me.
JGod did a YouTube video on how to utilize it. Would recommend watching if you’re a controller player for sure
I’ll be back in town tomorrow and off work this week. Normally have 1 other running with me but we love picking up strays and don’t die often. Can drop an M13 as well. typically in an XBL party but if anyone’s on and just sends a game invite I’ll see it between games and shoot you an invite back to join up and we’ll game chat
Are they going to do skins for everyone that was in the commercials, or just the soccer players cause World Cup? I'd definitely pay for a Lando Norris skin.
Got that, I think I’m off on that Gyro setting, I’m still having the same type of games where I’m about a 1 KD player but I just watch some of these kill cams and it seems other players aim assist is a lot stronger and locks on to me.
Turn off gyro also if you truly want your aim to get better play private matches against bots with aim assist turned off
I like this new unhinged trios mode. Joined a team last night when they were trying to get some other rando to join and then blasted the other dude right in the face after I joined the team. Ended up winning the round with them
