I totally forgot that the series started with the scene where she got shot with the arrow. My wife just reminded me. She even says I must be a demon and I am already dead.
Spoiler I’m glad Elsa actually died. When they ran into the Sioux, I thought they were gonna pull of some mythical Indian medicine bullshit and she’d survive
I’m watching the making of special, and it’s pretty interesting. The scope of this production was insane.
That’s what I heard on a podcast. And it takes place in Oklahoma during the oil discovery. Sounds like they’re trying to rip off Killer of the Flower Moon
Really enjoyed the show. Agree on the accent being awful, when no one else had one. Made no sense. They did try to make her a little too much like Beth sometimes too. The entrance to the fort scene specifically. Just like Yellowstone I liked the first half better than the last half. But for some winter tv watching I liked it.
I did not get Beth vibes from her at all. Are strong independent women all the same? Beth is a fucking caricature.
No on all the same. I guess just being difficult all the time. Like I mentioned at the gate of the fort, and then just not sharing her name with Colten for a couple of examples. Maybe Beth is the wrong example I don’t know. Just seemed to go out of the way to make her difficult.
Because he was going to kill himself in the first episode after his family died, and really didn’t feel he had anything left to live for except helping these people and getting to the coast one more time for his wife.
He said the only thing he had left to do in life was take the little bit of his wife that was alive in him to see the Pacific Ocean.
At one point he also only continued on because Elsa had asked him to. I think he saw some of his daughter in her so he kept going for that reason too
