Looks like by YTTV recorded the first episode and has ep 2 in line to record this week. Thought this was only on paramount service? I don’t pay for that
I think they are showing first 2 episodes to try and get you hooked. They did the same is the mayor of whatever show
I’m watching all of Sheridan’s shows and those 2 were the 2 best this year by far Daughter is a great character but her long term outlook isn’t great
I like how only one of these Germans speak English. Yet all the sudden the two thieves speak it and when Sam Elliott is screaming at the group, they all seem to understand him.
I felt that ending was fairly telegraphed. I still enjoy the show despite it's issues. I saw someone above mention the English language issue and that is a pretty big one. All of a sudden everyone speaks English. I would have preferred if they never introduced the idea that they couldn't if it only mattered for one or two episodes.
You just have to come to terms that these Sheridan paramount shows are glorified soap operas for dudes. Lots of action and drama. Can’t get bogged down in plot holes or illogical decisions by characters.
Well damn, make me like Ennis and then almost immediately kill him off…least he got more episodes than Lee Dutton
I don’t see how the language thing is such a big deal. Seemed like it was used to emphasize the main German character and that worked. After that it’s whatever
It's cringeworthy. "Look at these poor dumb immigrants who can't hack it next to strong Americans." [who were immigrants just a few generations previous] Yes, I've always thought of the Germans as hapless people who couldn't make a living.
I think this is a bad criticism. I dont think the show portrays them as poor dumb immigrants. Just helpless ones in that environment. They’re furniture builders that came from an urban setting. I’m sure they’d be just fine if they stayed on the east coast in a city. They have zero clue what to do on the trail. I think that’s pretty realistic.
Only seen 1 ep so I'm getting a feel. And I saw your post above about Taylor Sheridan, enjoy it as a soap opera etc. Just was imagining a CMT watching idiot from my hometown seeing that episode and their thoughts
I got big issues if I’m balancing my love for westerns with what CMT douchebags from Alabama have to say about them
I can't stand the way they have been releasing this show. It's almost like whenever they feel like it.
I used to feel like Tim McGraw was put on this earth to give us Indian Outlaw but he’s starting to change my mind
Sheridan loves hooking his boy up(the new cook) with smallish roles where he meets an awful demise because he’s a shithead Was in wind river and the prison show
Apparently…. The gypsy chick was married to Tim Robbins for like three years or some shit. Gratiela Brancusi
I find this show so soothing. Even with all the bad shit that happens, it is just so beautifully filmed and scored.
