maybe because they are both the 6th song on the album and it has that slow flow.... GLC and Paul Wall sound alike.
the 6/8 time signature in spaceship makes it pretty different for me i guess. gives it a completely different feel imo. i see what you're saying though
Agree with OP, I think his most underrated are Late, Gone, Devil in a New Dress, School Spirit, and Good Friday. 808's and Heartbreak is my least favorite Kanye album, I do really like Say You Will and Robocop, though. That being said, I think a decent argument can be made as to how influential that album was (actually all of Kanye's album are pretty influential) on artists like Drake.
Also, this song isn't really underrated, but I think Can't Tell Me Nothing doesn't get enough props. Top 5-10 Kanye song imo.
i'm a huge fan. he's in my top 5 favorite artists of all time. 1. college dropout 2. my beautiful dark twisted fantasy 3. late registration 4. graduation 5. 808's and heartbreaks (i don't dislike it as most others do)
Kanye keeps evolving and putting out quality shit. Far and away my favorite rapper. I just don't know if he can keep it up, he hasn't regressed one bit though.
hoping he devolves back to his first 2 albums soon. Miss his old stuff where he'd get a sick sample and lay his feelings onto it. gotta love Hey Mama
