No, I'm just now getting around to watching it. I downloaded it from torrance at Sun Feb 25 2024 04:22:26 GMT-0600 (Central Standard Time) my local time. It's currently 21:38 25Feb here
That seems like so much to keep up with. But also sounds like you get more camp life which would be pretty cool. Less contrived.
Yeah it’s pretty much back to early US Survivor before advantages took over. Rob Cesternino (RHAP) was saying that it’s a better version than the US one which I would have to agree with. Would love to see them do an Australian All Stars vs US All Stars season one year.
I was actively angry thinking that Jess was going to get bounced because she did nothing to state her case at tribal and they were going to stay physical. When Jelinsky was voted out three straight I was ecstatic. Q must have been quite convincing to get everyone on board. Cast is skewed quite young this season.
Just watched finally, holy shit Jelinsky sucks I was rolling about the Survivor Legend comment knew he was going home right then.
This Australian Survivor season is seriously crazy. I wish there was an easy way for Americans to watch the season as you are missing out.
I watched last night's episode and it was p crazy. Spoiler: Dude found an advantage that If he got everyone (9 players) to vote him out at tribal then his vote would be the one that decides who goes home. He had to get every vote on him or he would've gone home. He played like he was miserable and didn't want to play anymore and it worked.
Another season with a complete train wreck of a team. they are really teetering on pushing it with the crazy characters making everything so damn emotional.
I wish they would go back to 2 teams. Makes alliances harder to form. Also, I can’t believe they didn’t force a vote for the losing team. That screamed producers thinking Bhanu is going to have a following once it’s aired so let’s save him.
It just feels like nothing is happening in the other tribes, and the one tribe that has "drama" is just Bhanu crying all the time.
If Q could've landed some sandbags, they wouldn't have lost. He was dead on accurate when he said he choked. Some tribes just find ways to lose. Bhanu on the journey was hilarious.
That’s two seasons in a row. It becomes uninteresting when only one team is going to all the tribals. They will go to the merge in two shows and we don’t know half the people. Also, I feel bad for Q. He got saddled with the worst six person team in the history of the game. Terrible job by the production team.
I do agree that one tribe sucking is bad for the season, but I still think the insane people casting is awesome.
That’s fair. I do wonder how extensive the vetting is. He was really terrible, in every aspect, but Jess was worse. I also thought Bhanu would be good on my first impression. It’s almost like he’s never even watched a full season of the show.
Bhanu couldn't wait to deliver his "I didn't come here to win a million dollars, I came here to win a million hearts" line. He burned it so early.
Liz has clearly never watched it. Telling everyone how she’s rich and doesn’t need the money is a choice.
Australian season finished last night. Really was a very good season. Finding the Australian seasons more enjoyable than the US ones at the moment.
Jalenski being terrible was great. Bhanu being terrible is also great. I don’t think I would have predicted the yanu tribe being as bad as they are.
This really has been an average start to the season. Hopefully it picks up soon. Bhanu was just a train wreck in the end.
The early days of the season are always bad. Wish there was a way to skip to the good stuff while knowing what we need to know
I feel like the producers are trying to hard to make stories and be about the “journey” as opposed to gameplay. Really awful start
