Should have known Bungie wouldn't let me cheese crucible quest steps in private matches. Still had fun running around though. At least you can dump experience into stuff in them.

For some reason my first account was deleted in the original board crash several years ago. That was pretty neat. But now that I know Karl Hungus has that tag, I'm glad I don't have it.
I'm about as ready as I can be for the expansion. Have vanguard and crucible edged up for all 3 characters and a different faction edged up on each character. A full slate of bounties on each character and about 50 exotic engrams ready to turn in. Also have level up packages waiting at each vendor that I'm going to wait and to accept, although I don't know if that will drop new stuff.
I just can't do it. I've tried every time and always end up just keeping on playing and leveling stuff up. Although I'm not picking up the packages this time and I'm not decrypting anything now. I am up to about 600 motes of light though so i can probably level myself up with various factions pretty quick. Not counting all I rack up this weekend (at least friday night).
i need to grind some shit before tuesday for sure. i'm so ready to rage quit destiny because motherfuckers can't finish a god damn jumping puzzle. i mean come on. it's just jumping guys, it's not that hard. but i definitely prefer it to trying to play competitive overwatch with motherfuckers who can't seem to grasp the basic concepts of team composition and roles. absolutely infuriating.
Overwatch is more frustrating imo if you get on a shitty team. "Oh great, we got 3 Hanzos now. Perfect."
found out over the weekend that one of my friends plays. last night we partied up and tried some comp. he immediately picked hanzo. great. so i played hoping he would change when we were attacking. nope, hanzo again. ok, i'll give it one more match. he immediately picks hanzo again. nope. unplug headset, leave game, leave party. wen't back to solo quick play to work on my ana.
Some kind of hidden puzzle happening within Destiny right now. Apparently you can be "infected" with certain SIVA viruses by completing unknown tasks. I'm sure everything I know about it will end up being wrong so I won't mention that stuff. I have faith that dabutdoesdestiny will have it figured out before long.
I literally just finished the last of the prep work I was doing for ROI and now this? Shit. Well if any of this turns out to be beneficial and doesn't necessitate me getting and Vanguard/Faction/Crucible rep, shoot me an invite. I'll be Bioshockin in the mean time.

There are 5 infections at this point and for now all they are is an xp buff. So I wouldn't worry about it yet. I have one of them so far.
If you open your character you'll have a buff. If you have the green dust it should be Brilliance 3.2.
i did a nightfall with achiever, and went over on my vanguard. lol. guess i should pay attention like you guys do.
You have to get multiple in your first instance. If you only got one on your first strike, crucible match etc that's all you can get right now.
