Didn't see this posted. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/05/2...illa-to-protect-small-child-in-enclosure.html Lol at the mom yelling "mommy's right here". Where were you two minutes ago when your fucking kid fell in a gorilla enclosure?
There's being a neglectful parent...and there's getting an endangered gorilla shot and killed inside his fucking home neglect.
Been to the zoo many times and I cant even explain the level of parental neglect that had to occur for this to take place. Like the way it's set up there's no way a kid should be able to get in there.
Besides the Mommy right here , the other comment that frosted my corn flakes was stay calm . I bet you dollars to donuts she was on her cell phone and not paying attention .
It says that no one has ever accidentally got into that enclosure in 38 years. That kid worked for it.
Really is a terrible situation for the zoo. Have to decide between killing an animal that was in his own home or trying to tranquilize him and hoping it kicks in fast enough to save the kid and risking a lawsuit if it all goes south.
If its neglectful as it sounds I hope the mom is prosecuted, but anyone that would have to think twice about shooting the gorilla has their priorities way out of whack.
Kids over four, it's happened several times and only once with kids under four. Spoiler Fuck y'all making fun of my sentence structure on a holiday weekend. Shameful!
But guys, she was finally going to beat this impossible Candy Crush level. Some of you are so quick to judge.
Yeah. Now the situation that happened a week or so ago in India or somewhere where the guy was trying to kill himself so he jump in with the 2 lions, I don't think they should have killed the lions.
The zoo's animal response team assessed the 'life-threatening situation' and defended their decision to shoot Harambe rather than tranquilize him, but thousands took to social media to call it a 'murder'. O'connor told WLWT she heard the boy talking about getting into the water before she heard a splash, followed by frantic yelling once onlookers realised he was inside the enclosure. A video emerged on Saturday revealing some of the chilling moments Harambe was dragging the boy in the water, although more graphic portions were cut from the footage. The panicked bystanders may have aggravated the tense situation, according to O'Connor, who said: "I don't know if the screaming did it or too many people hanging on the edge, if he thought we were coming in, but then he pulled the boy down away further from the big group." In the video that emerged on Saturday, a woman can be heard yelling, "Mummy's right here...mummy loves you,' and before saying 'Isaiah be calm,' when the boy started crying. Director Thane Maynard supported the zoo's dangerous animal response team for their decision to put down the gorilla. "They made a tough choice and they made the right choice because they saved that little boy's life," Maynard said. Some moderately hot takes Bob Owens @bob_owens I'm far from being a tree-hugger, but lowland gorillas are endangered and stupid people aren't. Sorry, #Harambe. 10:48 AM - 29 May 2016 Eva Thalén @evathalen Here's a rule of thumb; if you have to shoot - aim for the least endangered one. #CincinnatiZoo #Harambe 8:38 AM - 29 May 2016 99 Retweets 3333 likes
Sounds like Eva's been in an orgy or two. Also coming in scorching hot with her first take on the matter (and also her only other tweet in English) Eva Thalén@evathalen If they hadn't stripped the #gorilla of his 2nd amendment rights he could have shot the intrudor #CincinnatiZoo #nra 5:04 AM - 29 May 2016
after watching the CNN video, it kinda looks like the gorilla was protecting the kid from all those people screaming.
