hundreds of years pillaging the world and all of it's cultures and the brits are still the worst at making food in the entire fucking world. it's quite impressive.
That almost makes me sad because people will go to that place because everyone will say how good it is, and you end up with that food and realize they’re all fucking dumb.
I've yet to see an English breakfast that looks remotely good. mostly because they just throw a bunch of random shit on the plate. like pan seared tomatoes aren't a breakfast food I hate to tell you
I've never understood the baked beans (or the mushrooms to a smaller extent) part of an English breakfast. Beans for breakfast and mushy peas are the two main aspects of their diets that leave me dumbfounded
The post breakfast shit would be a worry for me. Can you imagine eating that on your way to watch the open? I would be miserable. Then again, 25 y/o might feel differently.
