Anyone else checked this out yet? I started watching last night on Netflix, and I'm hooked. Basically, guy seems normal at the very beginning, starts stalking girl, they start dating, and it basically goes crazy(er?) from there. Some of the stuff is a little over the top, but it's a hell of a lot of fun to watch, IMO.
Also started it last night and was surprised at how entertaining it was. Shocked to see it originally aired on Lifetime.
I watched the entire series last week (Apparently this aired on Lifetime. Netflix is picking up the series for S2). Very little about either of the lead characters is realistic in my book and both of them showcase the stereotypical ways of millennials. I will admit that it's a fun (and sometimes dumb) watch to binge on. Also, Beck really needs to go to Target or IKEA for some curtains. You would think her Brownstone apartment would have that by now.
Dudes obsession with a chick. I liked it. Nothing groundbreaking, but fun twist, etc Kind of Dexterish
Binged. A decent series. Probably won't care enough to watch the second season. Quite solid acting, though. Would have never made it to the second episode had the two leads -- especially Joe -- not been played competently. If you liked You, you'd probably enjoy Mr. Mercedes. Killing Eve has gotten really good reviews. That's probably where I'm going next.
This isn’t a stretch. Pretty sure people on subways do this in NYC. it was also dark and late at night
Finale spoiler Spoiler did they show how he framed John stamos? I dozed a little in the last episode and didn’t see. Just saw him being arrested
I think he used her phone, plus locations to set him up. Used the friends as well. Ask the source: UncleJesse
Actually, Joe seems like a pretty good guy. Kind enough to help a young kid in need. I mean, if it weren't for the sociopathic tendencies toward anything remotely involving romantic relationships and the possible pitfall of becoming murdered as a result, he's a rather normal person.
I just finished episode 1 and it’s way more entertaining than I wanted it to be. Like bro you have this in the bag why do you have to be such a fucking weirdo about it.
Guinevere is so hot - definitely why I started watching. Guilty pleasure is the reason for finishing. Was it a good show? Not really, but I was entertained throughout.
Just finished. Thought it was worth the watch but I wasn't addicted. Really liked how they managed Joe's character actually and consistently showed both sides of him. It felt balanced. I thought the leads were fine. It was the supporting cast that I thought went wayyyy too far with the annoying stereotypes or personalities. Just thinking of Ethan, Blythe, Lynn as some major IG influencer?...like who the hell are these people? Spoiler I'm also wondering why they didn't follow up with the cop more who pulled joe over and then was inspecting peach's crime scene. They kept setting it up that he was suspicious and then he made one phone call and never followed up on the bogus name? What was even the point of the PI? Just some shallow and missed opportunities to add more simultaneous angles to Joe's troubles.
I think I like 1 better. Admittedly I tried binging in an overnight spirit airline flight (worst flying experience of my life), so I probably set myself up for failure. I’m midway through episode 5. With that said, Beck is better than Love. Love is meh. Beck is way hotter. And the gorgeous Filipino girl is way better than Forty. Forty is annoying. I probably like the Ellie and Delilah thing better than the young boy drunk boyfriend angle from season 1.
I think I agree that Beck is hotter than Love, but there were sometimes that Love was just stunning to me.
I've had a couple people recommend this to me. I'm four or five episodes in. Joe is pretty unlikable.
I definitely enjoyed season 2 more than 1. Really enjoyed the twist. Also, I like this theory for season 3. Possible spoiler. Spoiler The woman he says next door through the fence isn't his new romantic interest. It's his biological mother and the family she made after abandoning him.
Spoiler makes tons of sense. Candace was foreshadowed in season 1. Now natural to go to mom in season 2.
I loved season 1 Does 2 get better? I’m through 3 episodes and I find it kind of boring and pointless
