He’s out of contract after this season he had a £600,000 move to Bristol rovers fall through on deadline day because rovers submitted the paperwork 40 seconds too late sounds like 500k will get it done he’s won multiple league one golden boots. When mullin moved to wrexham he had just won the league two golden boot. There is a pretty wide gulf in class between the two. jch would pretty much guarantee their promotion this year if he stays healthy and he’s been pretty durable over his career. Age wouldn’t be too big of a concern as he’s a target man and his game isn’t based on pace at all
Not watching but how has Hutchinson looked for Walsall? Always thought he was too good for league two
So there was an injury at the end of first half regular time and Wrexham was down 1-0, leading to 16 minutes of extra time. 3-1 Wrexham at half.
I don’t disagree. But they’re getting promoted and not sure if mullin will be able to do it in league one. Clarke Harris is basically 20 goals guaranteed in league one and he might get a goal a game in league two. He’s really good.
No doubt. Just imagine spending that level of money with the League FFP rules would be hard to justify is all. I know you’ve been talking about him for a minute.
I assumed they’d already had a lot committed wage wise so adding more wouldn’t be as easy as it seems. But not knowing full level of their revenues you could be right
FUCK. Hate dropping points to the fightin bobby Newports. At least it wasn’t at home I guess. Still is a really good spot overall.
It is frustrating there are like 3 championship games per week on espn+ and if you want to watch others you have to pay like 15/match I pay £25/month to watch all posh matches
i wonder how much espn+ would have to pay to get the rights for all EFL matches in the US. would be a dream come true for someone like me and it's probably a rounding error to espn
A third deadline day signing was also sought, but prising Jamie Lindsay out of Championship strugglers Rotherham United proved beyond the club despite lodging a substantial six-figure bid for a midfielder who will be out of contract in the summer.
And a transfer window they can turn it over during if they really want/need. You'd said the entire time before their promotion that they basically had a League 1 squad. Makes sense not to go crazy adding players now if they the squad to get promoted
this window should've been geared toward league one. instead they signed jack mariott. it's also going to be extremely difficult for them to sell players as they're all on massive wages for league one/two.
to be fair i don't care about wrexham. i would have just approached this window way differently if i were them.
