Tried watching the Sweden/Nigeria match on Fox Sports Go and the main feed kept having a "media error." Had to watch from the "Tactical View," which was kind of annoying.
Tobin would be the one true queen but she gets shunted to the bench like a dog in this tactical set up so we can rely on Rapinoe and Press and hope one of our super athletic strikers learns how to finish still think we get wrecked by France in the final
I may have said it in an earlier thread, but why does Tobin get so few starts? She and Rapinoe are 10x more technical than any other player on the team. Yet she only makes an appearance in theast 20
Tobin should be our 10 that the entire team is built around. But it is tough to fit her in a 442 with Rapinoe at the same time. Need some pace on the other wing
Just got done watching Tobin highlights and I completely agree with making her the 10 and letting her free roam and create. They want to prop up fs1 so people start to know where it is. NBC does the same. Abc does too with ESPN as far as taking big events off network and onto cable. It helps them drive up viewers and they can demand more $$$.
It was a 2 part point. Fox drives people to fs1 for awareness and viewers for $. ESPN doesn't need awareness but they continue to put big events there and not abc in order to demand more $$ from cable providers with huge viewer numbers. Think college football playoff. Cliffs: cable viewers are really profitable.
