I'm early on, but this show cannot get funnier than what I saw last night with the romantic date on the boat while the ashes were being spread.
I worked in hospitality too and there was nothing ridiculous about Shane's request. Shane simply wanted what he/his family bought. From the start Armond lied about his fuck up and kept trying to make excuses. Then later he fucked Shane over with the boat ride. Like I get Shane was difficult but in customer service if you fuck up you try to make it right and he just tried to sluff it off. Hard disagree though I loved how entertaining his character was.
show had promise but just finished and meh won't watch next season unless it gets amazing reviews (it won't)
I’m just not into how it wrapped up. Everything about it up until then was brilliant but I’m just not into those vibes in the end. I won’t watch season two based on that
Prequels baby! Show Armond’s rise to power/ struggles with addiction/ other battles with the visitors. Ten seasons at least.
I personally loved the ending. Life is most often ragged with no clean, neat resolution. Not everything ends up wrapped in a bow.
I’m so ok with the ending being messy, and I am so ok with anyone else thinking it was perfect. My thing is I got zero joy or satisfaction from aspects of it. Shit like that just isn’t fun for me
I just meant people like them. I agree he was just trying to get what was promised to them. I just think you deal people in that line of work who couldn’t give a shit about anyone on the staff etc.
finally had a chance to watch this over the last few days and loved it I had a different takeaway than most in this thread, though (and perhaps the creator). i just thought it was an examination of how everyone in society is shitty -- not just the white privilege aspect. the only 'good' people are the paddlers + quinn (being accepting of others, finding a calling and self-improving, etc), who are very much acting as if they have left current society with their paddling goals. Paula, Belinda, and Kai were all bad actors, too, in my view. anyways, fun show.
I can out of stuff to watch so I gave this a try. First episode I thought why do people like this. Just finished five, not bad.
It has been a few months but iirc they had a relatively quick courtship, got engaged and she got caught up in planning the wedding, the lifestyle etc and didn't really have time to stop and think about what it all meant. Things that she was able to brush off started becoming apparent once everything slowed down and she saw him for who he really was
In case anyone was wondering... Sydney Sweeney (Olivia) is 24 and has done nude work before. Spoiler: NSFW Link https://www.xvideos.com/video651840...y_and_ben_hardy_sex_scene_naked_and_sex_edit_
I’m not sure if they can capture the same feel of the first one, but will definitely watch. Cast looks great.
I liked It too. Uncomfortably awkward. Not really sure what’s going on. Much like the first ep of last season iirc
