no he is admittedly still a huge arsenal fan and says we are the only club he could ever play for if he left barcelona again. nasri being at the game is a mindfuck, i have no idea what he was thinking or doing there.
I just find it bizarre. It's like breaking up with your girl and then creeping on her Facebook page constantly. Not that I do that.
Vermaelen still has a lot to improve on to get back to his best but hell if I don't love the way he pushes forward and attacks the goal. that he is probably our 2nd or 3rd biggest goal threat. Can't wait for Podolski.
Maybe if they were league rivals. He spent 8 years at Arsenal, I don't see that much wrong with it, outside of the fact that you guys hate Barca for recent CL events.
No, in this instance it's like Cesc ditched his fuck buddy but still comes back to pump one out occasionally.

Vertonghen? If thats who you're talking about I don't see it because he wouldn't be first team and I doubt he would be ok with that.
hes a lot like vermalean imo - belgian, left footed, versatility to play lb and a beast in the air, that would be a great signing. i wanted him at arsenal last year when i wasnt fully confident in koscielny.
Vertonghen makes sense with his versatility. Podolski is a big need and we need a backup goalie and a fullback. If Vertonghen can provide cover at CH, DM, and LB then it makes a lot of sense. I don't consider first XI the first team, a big club should have at least 18-20 guys they are comfortable with playing in big games and Vertonghen would surely add to that.
mertesacker and djourou's new contract make me think we wouldn't go after him but the versatility does make sense. an addition of vertonghen would be a dream.
Sagna and Santos are both 29 or close to. Gibbs can't stay healthy and Jenkinson isn't ready. I hope Sagna stays at least 3 more years and I see Santos having a future but a versatile 25 or year old fullback makes a lot of sense. If they view Vertonghen as a CB we won't sign him with Bartley and Miquel in the wings as well. If they see him as a guy just as good at LB and DM then maybe. We need someone, the 2 months of CBs playing FB weren't good.
Not saying this deal isn't happening, but usually medicals are one of the last things to take place before the transfer goes through. What if he can't pass a medical in 3 months?
Yeah papers claim medicals happen all the time, doubt it actually went down but I do expect the deal to happen
yeah I doubt the medical is happening now, I just throw all rumors in this thread and a couple of people were talking about it on twitter yesterday
step 2: Still obtain even more money... I got to see Arsenal in December(not at the Emirates sadly, dates didn't work) but that was kind of fluke thing. The Emirates is not a cheap place to see games.
Tough to get tickets at a lot of other venues. Some sell General Admission seats, a lot won't sell tickets to non-registered supporters. I would say it's worth it as long as you don't have to travel to far in England.
A hotel concierge can usually get you tickets if you explain your plight, but you'll have to pay a lot for them.
fuck...I just saw barca for roughly 20 euros, and i was expecting at least 100 so ill just have to look into it. Ive got some time.

Makes sense if we are agreeing on everything now which all signs point to being the case. Can introduce him when the window opens. Love it, not sure who I'm gonna root for in the Euros. Germans with Podolski-Per and my love Gotze or the Dutch with RVP. If Stuart Pearce is managing England then refuse to root for them besides Theo and Ox if he goes. Hate that fucker.
went for the dutch in the world cup (since i knew id be in amsterdam during the final) so im switching it up. getting podolski and those new green kits are making me lean towards ze germans.

apparently nasri is saying he was overused at arsenal and blames us for any injuries hes had. really embracing that role on the bench
