Bates hall 5th floor. It was a piece of shit but it was pretty fantastic because of the lack of rules or anyone caring. Also, my RA graduated in December and they just never got us another one so that was nice.
Morrison Memorial Tailgate Lot 1 hr · Tailgaters, After over a decade of tailgating on the site Morrison Memorial Tailgate Lot called home, we will no longer be active at this location. We continue talks for an alternate location, but until we confirm via our official channels, anything you read or hear has nothing to do with the legendary Morrison Memorial Tailgate Lot. Go Cocks!
I lived in the Honors Dorm the first year it opened. It was great. It was pretty much like living in apartments since the RMs were so hands off. I did get busted in Capstone for unknowingly offering Tobias's RM one of my four lokos and then when she told me who she was and to pour it out, I countered and offered to pour it out down my throat, which is what I ended up doing.
i believe you said "yeah audrey i am sure you'll write me up" very sarcastically, laughed and then just kept drinking. she did in fact write you up
I lived off campus with 3 friends bc I was a dumb fuck who only cared about partying with people from high school
I was convinced I had talked her out of it too but then I got the email saying I had in fact been written up and had to go to that alcohol class.
its all my other rm's fault for being slack and constantly insulting our mothers instead of disciplining us at all. created a false sense of security
I regret not living in the dorms first year but yeah there's no telling what kind of trouble I'd have gotten in if subject to the rules of RAs so who knows, it may have been for the best
Part of being a capstone scholar was being able to pick which dorm you wanted to live in. So I chose columbia
There seemed to be an unusually high number of students that claimed to have made the same decision. And we didn't have full freedom of dorms to pick from. Maxcy was off limits. I would have lived amongst the nerdiest nerds for the parking space they got.
I remembered getting to pick between columbia and capstone. The roosts last year was the year before me so that went away. All my friends who were older said columbia hall was more fun so I went with that
I just don't see how anyone could turn down the chance to live in a building with a revolving restaurant at the top that is in a permanent state of inoperability.
I saw Obama speak in capstone when he was campaigning. Crazy to look back on how relatively small of an event that was
Really is. At the time I thought he had no chance of winning but I was interested and it was one of those speeches you could get the capstone points things for attending. Kind of blows my mind now
damn i am jealous crazy to think that 3 years later my small ass fraternity was doing initiation in that same room
It was a masterstroke in longterm campaign strategy. He more than doubled Hilary's votes in the 2008 SC Democratic Primary.
Food is ok. Friday is a BBQ buffet and Sunday is a brunch buffet. View is super cool. Costs about $20
Yeah it's not where you hit up with your boys for hangover brunch, it's like when mom and Dad are in town and you want to take them somewhere "nicer"
Little offensive to those of us with no dad's. Why don't you stop shoving your two dad's down my throat, dick.
