Medical professionals do not diagnose people as “insane”. Medical professionals use the actual names of the specific mental illness the patient exhibits. I don’t know if “insanity” has a legal definition for not guilty pleas. You’ll have to ask a lawyer about that.

My beef is with his mental health being another reason to dismiss him When you use words like 'insane' 'crazy' 'mad' 'hysterical' most people get the image of someone with a mental illness in their head. For me its Charles Manson, who was diagnosed schizophrenia and paranoid delusional disorder. There are thousands of people out there that have these same disorders that don't start cults and order the murder and dismemberment of people. Claiming with certainty that someone's mental health is the reason their behavior is abhorrent sells yourself short on critical thinking and identifying specifically what you don't like. Don't paint with a broad brush. Discussing a mental illness as a reason for shooting up a school, threatening nuclear war, or molesting kids is an inaccurate characterization that marginalizes decent people with mental problems. I'm not disagreeing with you that there is something wrong with our Dear Leader and I'd like to see a differential diagnosis performed and a diagnosis treated, for the sake of the country. I just don't see how it could be a net positive for our society as a whole when guys like yourself and Joe Scarborough start making medical excuses for the blatant imperialist racist agenda we're currently experiencing. This administration is a symptom of a broader cultural issue we've been neglecting for almost two centuries. Its not just one crazy guy that is in charge.
