When they gave the pump fake last night in with Butchies boys and Omar in the holding cell she was almost yelling at the TV
The scene where Kima watches Walon go in to talk to Bubbles always gets me. Steve Earle isn't a particularly good actor, but there's something very genuine about him.
man fuck Herc. he almost makes you start to like him a little while he's working for the mayor. Once he gets back in Marrimow's shit detail and fucks over Randy and gets Bubbles beat down... and brings him a box of chicken to say sorry. fuck that guy. And he treats Sydnor like his personal servant for the whole Marlo detail.
When Michael’s stepfather gets taken care of by Chris...damn the shock value is never coming off that scene
i've been watching a bunch of wire youtube clips lately the way Brother Mouzone says "Mister Cheese, I see" Method Man was great in general too
Mouzone is legend. Such a cool character. The showdown with him and Omar was like two knights in a den of thieves.
do you guys who live on the east coast ever see Nation of Islam people like him? i had no clue about who/what he was supposed to be when i watched for the first time because oregon is
One of my favorite scenes...so many good lines. Don't see no sweat on your brow neither, bruh. SupPOSE we could... Ain't no sugar water in those veins Even if I miss I can't miss
Prezboluski having multiple gun offenses ON THE JOB and still being able to get a teaching job is some dark storytelling, even if he is actually one of the few good people in the series
I might get dragged for this but I hate Prezbo. He is the walking embodiment of white privilege and nepotism. Before we even meet him on the show he’s had what should have been a career ending incident when he shot up his own patrol car and called in saying he was under attack. Then we see him blind a kid just for the hell of it. Then he punched a superior in a room full of witnesses. Then he kills another officer. He might have skated from that too if he didn’t choose to resign. The first 4-5 times through the show I liked him as much as everyone else. But after I really got into the nitty gritty in my profession and started dealing with this type of stuff in real life, I can’t watch the show and not hate his sorry ass.
Was it NC State-Maryland playing when he was putting together lesson plans? Also, I choose to believe one of the hispanic gentlemen doing yard work with Cutty was wearing a black hat with a white Power T on it. It was not a knockoff Texas Rangers gas station hat.
Most natural police didn’t waste time with that nonsense in the first place. Weed should be legal for recreational use anyway. This will make politicians and simpletons think they’re on the cutting edge of reform but you’re really not going to see much difference imo.
Doing a rewatch for the first time since the series ended. Fucking Herk had the goddamn nailgun in his stupid fucking hands, and was too busy bitching about his stupid fucking camera. Goddamn I hate herk.
"You gonna look out for me, Sgt Carver?" Carver came such a long way as a person, and was trying so fucking hard...
I gave myself that tour one time when I was working for a non-profit building houses in Baltimore. most of our jobs were right by Marlo's spot.
just finished a full rewatch honestly colvin and carver might be the only good people in the entire show.
I love Bunk but I'm pretty sure he got drunk and waived his service weapon around like a sparkler on the 4th of July lol
