finished the night off with the Grape Ape and the Hoppa Stoppa. The grape ape was by far my favorite. Tiny hangover so I’m a a local joint ordering some late breakfast sandwiches.
My connects think there’s another plan in the works for anchor, biggest problem for them was that the land they own in downtown SF is worth more than the brand intakes at this point
What's up,Fancy guy? You rang? I saw they dropped headroom. 2 4pack pp limit tho. DM me if you want any and I can see what can be done.
I’m at the Answer in Richmond. One of the best tap lists I’ve ever seen tbh. first up, Parish Infinite Ghost
Never been a huge fan of sours but grabbed one from my favorite local brewery since they usually nail everything. I don’t understand why people like these.
This place (Gnosis Brewing) in Indiana is making insanely good stouts. Had their Oreo inspired stout last night and it was so good. Every time they release a stout variant it costs me $40. Automatic buy even with the 40 minute drive to pick it up.
My local favorites are getting hipster and moving away from the hazies and heavies. Sorry, brahs, I’m not going to buy your $20 four pack of single row warm fermented pilsner. I want the 12% BBA gut wrecker like the rest of your customer base.
The beer market is starting to shrink so everyone is scrambling to find footing in a niche market where they can survive. The bubble isn't popping per se but it damn sure isn't increasing any more.
I feel like BBAs are just starting to get good. Remember back in like 2010-2012 when breweries were making IPAs with no other purpose than to see how many IBUs they could pump in? The beer was shit but they had that number? I feel like that's how BBA Stouts have been. Just over power it with bourbon flavor for no reason. Now they are being more sensitible about it.
I remember drinking the shit out of this back in the day. Not because it was good but because it was like 10%.
Made this beer 3 and a half years ago. Found this dog behind the brewery 3 years ago. One has aged better than the other…
I actually grew up in Delaware and have a special place in my liver for DFH. I’ve been gone from home for 25+ years, but my mom buys me 120 minute every year. I drink it…it is what it is.
it was their 9th anniversary that night. I’m somewhat picky and there was probably 30-35 things I wanted to drink.
Goddamnit… haven’t been there in a while but after seeing this I’m stopping there next week. going to a cyclocross race there next weekend
