popped into my local general store to pick up a few things, and heady topper was in the cooler. picked up two 4-packs. maybe they've been distributing out of VT for a while, but its the first time I've seen it.
I’ve never seen it in the wild save maybe for a bar or two. My parents brought me back a 24 pack from the brewery about a decade ago.
Train beer Get on thinking, maybe getting an 8%er fo a train ride wasn't a good idea. Finished with two stops to go through
Best place to buy beer to go in St Augustine? I've searched around the threads but best thing I found was a post from ZZ back in 2012 .
At Brothership Brewing in the south suburbs of Chicago. They make an insanely underrated stout. I'd put them up against anyone. Remember back in the day when you had to fight and trade to get great beer. Now some unknown breweries are pumping out great beer. 10 years changes a lot of things.
My good beer journey was discovering Ghost In The Machine, trying to find something I liked more than Ghost In The Machine, settling in with the fact that nothing is better than Ghost In The Machine and ending my good beer journey
You’ll never hear me complain about old steadies. I’m surrounded by a combo of them and new ones that are very much misses with very few hits. As a result I find myself constantly going by to the good ole boys.
That’s interesting. I feel like it’s never been easier to find new good stuff just with how many breweries are everywhere now.
We had a great trip to St Augustine. I didn't get out and look much. With three kids there's just other priorities. I did grab some Parish Dr Juice and Ghost In The Machine. That was good enough. Fwiw about all I buy these days are Creature Comforts and more than anything Eighth State here in Greenville.
